Changelog
Was neu ist im FWRD-Portal. Wir arbeiten ständig am Platform — hier sehen Sie genau, was sich wann geändert hat.
Aktuelle Version v2.44.2
-
v2.44.1
- Behoben The builder now uses plain words where it used jargon. Eyebrow is now Small heading above, Variant is Layout, Alt text is Photo description and Map embed URL is Map link.
-
v2.44.0
- Neu The four blog blocks can now be edited in the builder. You choose whether the date, reading time, author and breadcrumbs appear, you set the author details, and you decide how many related articles show under a post.
-
v2.43.0
- Neu New sites get a look of their own instead of one fixed style. The builder picks a font pairing, colour use and layout that suit the trade, and local service businesses get a bar at the bottom of the phone screen to call or message straight away.
-
v2.40.3
- Platform Internal cleanup of database permissions. A credit balance view technically granted write access to visitors without an account. It could not be used and nothing happened, but the permissions did not belong there and have been revoked.
-
v2.40.2
- Behoben Follow-up to the previous fix, which did not land. The text in the call-to-action banner now really lines up with the rest of the page, and the footer on a coloured background is now genuinely more readable.
-
v2.40.1
- Behoben Two things visible on every site. The text in the call-to-action banner sat against the edge of the screen instead of indented like the rest of the page. And the footer was hard to read on a coloured background; that background is now a little deeper and the text a little stronger, so everything clears the accessibility standard comfortably.
-
v2.40.0
- Neu The first email to a new business now opens in a friendly way instead of with criticism of their website, and includes the link to the preview site we built for them right away. That link appeared in none of the emails even though we were building it. What could be better about their current site is still there, just no longer as the opening line.
-
v2.39.0
- Neu The emails we send to new businesses now carry a signature with a portrait photo. A message from someone with a face reads differently from a message from a name alone. If you block images you miss nothing: the name, the offer and the unsubscribe link are all plain text in the email.
-
v2.38.1
- Behoben Logged-in users could not upload an image. The bot check that protects the public builder also applied to people who were already signed in — and that check asks for a confirmation you only get by going through the public builder. Anyone with an account got an error instead of an upload. Fixed: your session now proves what that check was asking for.
-
v2.38.0
- Neu There is a new block for technical specifications. One form presents a single product as a spec sheet: property on the left, value on the right. The other puts your whole range side by side in one table, so a visitor can compare sizes, versions and values. On a phone the spec sheet stacks so long values stay intact, and the comparison table scrolls sideways while the first column stays put — so you always know which row you are reading.
- Neu A pricing block can now be a comparison table: one table with the features as rows and your plans as columns, each cell a check or a dash. Cards side by side make the visitor work out for themselves what the more expensive plan adds; a table shows that difference at a glance. On a phone the table scrolls sideways while the feature column stays put.
-
v2.37.0
- Neu A photo block can now be a lightbox: when a visitor clicks a photo it opens large over the page, with arrows to browse and Esc to close. Until now, clicking a photo went nowhere — useful for anyone showing their work: landscapers, painters, hairdressers, restaurants.
- Behoben The badge on the highlighted pricing plan always read “Most chosen”, even on a site in another language. It is now translated into every language we support, and a screen reader can read it out.
-
v2.36.1
- Behoben In a reviews block your customer’s name and town ran together: “Peter BakkerAlmere Buiten”. That was the case on every site with reviews; the two now sit on separate lines.
- Behoben A numbers block on a dark background had a grey panel sitting behind the figures, which are meant to stand free. The panel is gone.
- Behoben The compact form block was misaligned: the message box shared a row with an input, which pushed the label beside it upward and made the consent line collide with it. Every field is the same width now and the message box gets the full width.
- Behoben A long compound heading such as “Buitenschilderwerk” ran straight across the photo beside it in a hero. Words like that are now hyphenated so they stay in their column.
- Behoben In a team block shown as a list, a member without a photo displayed the word PORTRAIT clipped to “PORTR” inside the round frame. It is a plain empty circle now.
-
v2.36.0
- Neu The before/after slider can now be filled in by hand. Pick the “Before/after slider” style on a gallery and every project gets two image fields — the situation before and the result after — plus a project name, the type of work and a year. Those projects travel to your published site, so what you see sliding in the preview slides for your visitors too.
- Neu Your gallery can now show a before/after slider. Add a second photo of the finished result to a project and visitors drag between the two images themselves — the difference lands immediately instead of asking someone to compare two separate photos. Useful for painters, landscapers, renovation, salons and clinics. Projects without a second photo simply stay out of this block, and anyone who cannot work the slider still sees both photos split half and half.
- Behoben A block with a large image next to text only showed the heading and the photo on your published site. The eyebrow above it, the paragraph below it and the button were in your preview but never made it to the site — even though you had filled them in. They are there now — as is the eyebrow above a features block, which fell away for the same reason. If you do not pick a side for the image it sits on the right, and that is what the preview shows too instead of the other way around.
-
v2.34.4
- Behoben The Raw and Luxe design styles could hand out a heading typeface that ships only one weight. The browser then faked a bold, so headings on your site looked heavier and rougher than intended. Both styles now pick a typeface that really ships the weight they ask for, and a single-weight typeface can no longer end up under a design style through the font picker, the AI assistant, or a locked font either.
-
v2.34.3
- Behoben The preview sometimes showed fields the published site never got. A hero request form with no fields set up yet showed “Full name” and “Email” side by side, while the live page had “Name”, “Email” and “Message” stacked; a contact form without fields showed three fields instead of none. The preview now shows exactly what gets published.
- Behoben When one page held both a hero with a request form and a separate contact form, the two shared the same field names in the preview. Clicking a label on the top form put the cursor in the bottom one, and a screen reader announced the wrong field. Both forms now have their own fields, exactly as on the published site.
-
v2.34.2
- Behoben "Shuffle the look" now works on older sites too. If your site still held a block in an older format — a services list, a team block, a product list or a contact form from before an earlier update — you got an error the moment you asked for a new look. Those blocks are now quietly brought up to date instead of refused. The same blocks were blocking the site chat as well; that is fixed too.
-
v2.32.1
- Behoben The team block now shows only what is actually there. If someone has no photo on your site, you get their name and role instead of an empty portrait frame. The LinkedIn and mail icons under a team member are gone — they linked nowhere. And a team block with nobody in it now stays empty instead of filling itself with four invented names.
-
v2.31.0
- Platform Groundwork for the new Site Identity Engine landed under the hood: the site builder now treats style presets, colour schemes and font pairings as separate, swappable layers, and every block can carry its own colour scheme and alignment. Hero blocks gained a set of extra variants as well. This layer is still switched off: we are turning it on step by step as it proves out across every kind of site.
-
v2.24.0
- Platform Groundwork for site identity: the site builder now syncs style variants, colours and interactions automatically with the live-site template, and an extensive set of parity tests guards that the builder preview matches the published site exactly. The opening hours and price list blocks in the preview now render pixel-identical to the live site.
-
v2.23.3
- Behoben The lead form hero (text on the left, request form on the right) can now also be selected as a style in the site builder. In addition, the builder preview now renders a non-sticky navigation bar correctly — exactly as on the live site.
-
v2.22.0
- Neu Reviews block: the Google Reviews badge and per-review star rating can now be set in the site builder (block settings). The review slider (from 4 reviews) no longer blocks vertical scrolling and can be dragged with the mouse.
-
v2.21.3
- Behoben In the site builder’s block picker, long block descriptions ran outside their card (e.g. “Contact/sign-up form”). Long words now wrap neatly inside the card.
-
v2.21.2
- Behoben The hero with a background photo now shows the photo much better: no blur and no dark tint over the whole image, and the top stays fully visible. The text sits at the bottom on a soft dark gradient with a subtle shadow, so it stays readable even on light photos.
-
v2.21.1
- Behoben Every block in the site builder now has a readable name in all languages. Blog blocks (blog header, author, related posts, blog overview) showed an internal code instead of a name; that is fixed and a new block type can no longer appear without one.
-
v2.21.0
- Platform Site generation and AI edits now run over a live connection with progress. Large sites or long edits that used to silently stall after about a minute and a half ("It's very busy") now simply run to completion — and you see which step the AI is on meanwhile.
-
v2.20.0
- Platform Site generation now gets a much larger writing budget (up to 128k tokens, for everyone — no difference between free and paid). Large, extensive sites now come out of the generator complete in one go.
-
v2.19.0
- Platform The AI now has twice the room per task: longer briefs, bigger documents and more chat history fit, and output is no longer cut off on large sites or multi-page edits. You'll notice sites that finish in one go instead of stopping halfway.
-
v2.18.0
- Platform A migration now yields up to 4 pages by default (homepage + the key subpages of your old site), and building those subpages no longer stops early on the free starter credits.
- Neu Ask the builder chat to “copy all the blogs from my old site” and it happens: we fetch your blog overview, carry over every post as-is (title, date, main image and text) and add them as blog pages on your new site, with a blog overview in the navigation. Paste the link to your old blog if you like.
- Behoben Photos from your old site now come along even when they were set as background images in the layout (many older sites and sliders do that) or lazy-loaded — and we look at your subpages for them too, not just the homepage. When you then ask the chat for photos, the AI uses your own photos first and only then stock imagery.
-
v2.17.0
- Neu If you're building your first site as a guest and are about to leave, we now offer to create a free account so your work is saved. Pick up later on any device and share a preview link — no credit card needed.
-
v2.16.0
- Neu When you migrate an existing website, the generator now truly carries your brand across: the brand colour is taken from your logo (even if your old site only used it inside images), your logo appears in the navigation and footer, and every section gets a fitting photo — your own photos first, stock afterwards. Subpages of your old site (services, prices, contact, …) are rebuilt in the background too, so you are no longer left with just a homepage.
- Neu Reviews look better: from four reviews onwards the block becomes a tidy slider with arrows, star ratings are shown, and you can enable a Google Reviews badge when your reviews genuinely come from Google.
- Neu New 'Lead form' hero variant: your copy on the left, a request form right there on the right — for sites where quotes or enquiries are the main goal. And you can now set a separate footer logo (for example a light variant on the dark footer).
- Behoben The navigation button now follows your site's main action (for example 'Request a quote') instead of always saying 'Contact', and forms with a date or dropdown field are no longer silently dropped from the generated site.
-
v2.15.0
- Neu You can now arrange your own domain name right when taking your site live. When publishing, choose to stay on your free fwrd.digital address, connect a domain you already own, or buy a new one through us — we handle registration, DNS and SSL fully automatically, in a single payment together with your plan. And if you pick an annual Grow or Pro plan, a .com domain is free for the first year.
- Neu Connecting your own domain is now available on every plan, including Free. Being findable on Google (indexing) remains part of the paid plans.
-
v2.13.0
- Neu A FWRD partner can now transfer a website they built for you straight into your hands. You get an email, pick a password if you don't have a login yet, and with one click the site — content and settings included — lands in your own account.
-
v2.12.1
- Behoben If you claimed a preview site through the link in our email, your free trial was lost when you later checked out on a different device or browser. The trial is now tied to your account and is always applied automatically at checkout.
-
v2.12.0
- Neu The map next to your contact details is now a real Google Maps map. Visitors see your location more clearly, can zoom in and read street names, and the "Directions" button opens turn-by-turn directions in Google Maps right away. No action needed: your map switches over automatically the next time your site is published.
- Neu Phone numbers and email addresses in your copy are now automatically clickable (call or email in one tap).
- Neu New builder block: Price list — show your services with rates in tidy groups (for example ladies/gents/colouring), with an optional footnote.
- Behoben When publishing a site for the first time, the waiting page showed a "View your current site" button that led nowhere — the site wasn't live yet. That button now only appears when you're updating a site that is already live.
- Behoben Editing a block in the builder — for example removing or replacing an image, or tweaking text on the canvas — could make that block invisible until you refreshed the page. Edited blocks now stay visible.
- Behoben Generated sites now automatically get a navigation and footer menu listing your site's sections, and image selection rejects blurry or tiny photos so an empty or fuzzy image never ends up on your site.
-
v2.11.0
- Neu New builder block: Opening hours — show your opening times as a clean table or cards, with an optional holiday note.
-
v2.10.1
- Behoben The AI now picks the section shape that fits your content: articles become a tidy card grid, a company history becomes a timeline, event facts become a stats band — instead of everything landing in a default text block.
-
v2.10.0
- Neu Newsletter subscriptions and email preferences from fwrd.digital are now managed securely inside the platform itself, with double opt-in. Your email address and preferences no longer live in the marketing site's publicly readable CMS.
-
v2.9.0
- Neu The start screen now shares the same light look as the rest of the app: the same warm window, the same navigation on the left and the same white panel. Starting a site and then stepping into your dashboard now feels like one place.
-
v2.8.0
- Neu New for anyone who receives a preview from us: we can now build a complete site for you in advance, based on your current website, including a report of what we found and improved. One link shows you the result, and one click claims the site — it lands straight in your own dashboard with your trial ready to start.
- Neu The builder just got a lot tidier: click a block and the blocks menu on the left slides away while the block's settings appear to the right of your site. That is also where the AI now lives — as a tab next to manual editing, with the same chat as on the dashboard. One close button dismisses the panel and brings the blocks menu back; the drawer at the bottom of the screen is gone.
- Neu On fwrd.digital you can now describe the site you need right away. Hit Enter and the builder opens with the chat already working on your description — no need to type it again, even if you create an account first.
- Neu We now measure the steps you take in FWRD much more precisely — from generating a site to publishing it and going live. This only happens if you accepted cookies, and we never send your email address, only an unreadable code derived from it. Nothing changes for you in the app; it helps us see where people get stuck so we can fix it.
- Behoben If you landed on the login page without an account, it looked like you had to sign in before you could get started. The login page now makes clear that you do not need to: a prominent panel takes you straight to the builder in one click, free and without an account.
- Behoben If you picked a paid plan on fwrd.digital, you first had to create an account before seeing any of the builder. That barrier is gone: you start building right away and we remember your plan choice — even after a reload or when you create an account later. You only check out once your site is ready to go live, with the plan you picked already selected.
-
v2.7.4
- Behoben We tightened security around your site and your data in a number of places. The form on your site and your visitor stats now use a key that only works for your site, so one customer's data can never end up with another. You will not notice anything — your site and your forms keep working as before.
-
v2.7.3
- Behoben If you asked for a site in a different language than the one you use FWRD in, your site's code still declared the wrong language — Google and screen readers read your English site as Dutch. The language now follows the text that is actually on the page.
- Behoben If building your site went wrong, you got a placeholder page that was always in Dutch — even if you use FWRD in English, German or French. The same applied to new blocks you added yourself. Those default texts are now English, so you never see a language you did not pick.
-
v2.7.2
- Behoben A new site was called "Mijn site" (Dutch) until it had a real business name, even if you were using the rest of FWRD in English, German or French. That placeholder name now follows your own language.
-
v2.7.1
- Behoben Generating a site failed with the message "it's very busy". The cause wasn't busyness but duration: the model took so long that the request was cut off in transit, before anything came back. Generating is now more than twice as fast and has a hard time limit, so you always get a site — and if something genuinely goes wrong, a clear message instead of a vague one.
- Behoben A round of security improvements, following a full review of the portal, the sites and the website. The ones that matter most affect teams: permissions are now always checked against the account you are acting in, and publishing asks for the publish right everywhere — including through settings, suggestions and auto-apply. Beyond that, a domain can no longer be claimed on a name already in use by someone else, and text on your published site is sanitised more strictly before it reaches the page. Nothing is needed from you.
-
v2.7.0
- Neu Buttons now point somewhere that actually exists. Instead of typing a path or anchor yourself, you pick where the button goes: a page of your site, a section on the page you're on, an external link, an email address or a phone number. If a button no longer points anywhere — because you renamed that page or removed that block — we say so straight away, rather than after you publish. Two checkboxes came along with it: open in a new tab, and don't let search engines follow it.
- Behoben Approved suggestions that broke off halfway reported 'processing was aborted' and stayed there — you had to approve them again yourself. That was never a problem with the suggestion but an interrupted run, and we now pick those back up automatically. You only see a message if it goes wrong three times in a row. The queue also moves faster: suggestions could previously sit waiting for an hour.
-
v2.6.0
- Neu You can now leave a guideline for the agent on each block — for instance 'do not mention prices here', 'keep the tone formal' or 'always include the opening hours'. The agent sticks to it whenever it fills or edits that block. If you ask for something else yourself, your instruction still wins.
- Neu Your site can now have a blog. Articles get their own URL prefix, an author with photo and bio, a reading time, and an overview page where visitors can search and sort. Related articles appear underneath a piece automatically. Blog pages go into your sitemap on their own, so Google finds them without you setting anything up.
- Neu New in your site settings: an announcement bar at the top of your site, and a pop-up. Useful for an offer, changed opening hours or a notice. You decide whether visitors may dismiss the bar and on which date it disappears by itself; the pop-up can be limited to certain pages and can always be closed by the visitor. Both are included in every plan, at no extra cost.
- Behoben Two small things put right in the studio. The workspace switcher at the bottom left had breathing room on the sides but none above or below, so it looked wedged in. And on a phone the AI panel at the bottom seemed impossible to drag: the handle was a few pixels tall, smaller than a fingertip. You can now grab the whole header of that panel to swipe it away.
- Behoben On the contact block, the white card next to the pin was sometimes empty, and the 'Directions' button went nowhere. The card now falls back to your business name and address when those fields are blank, and the button opens the route in Google Maps — straight into the maps app on a phone. If you filled in your own directions link, that still wins. With no address the button no longer appears at all, rather than sitting there doing nothing.
- Behoben When applying an agent suggestion failed, the reason came back in Dutch — even if you read the rest of the app in English, German, French, Spanish or Portuguese. The message is now in your own language, and says more clearly what happened and whether anything on your site changed (it did not).
-
v2.3.1
- Behoben The page explaining what we measure said we read nothing from your browser storage. That was not quite right: no cookie is set, but for as long as your tab stays open we do keep one random number in it, so that separate clicks on the same page belong together. That number disappears when you close the tab and does not recognise you on a later visit. The conclusion is unchanged — there is still nothing to accept or refuse — but the text is now accurate.
-
v2.3.0
- Neu Your site now measures how visitors actually use it — without cookies, and without following them to other websites. Which pages get read, how far people scroll, which section they do or do not reach, where they give up in a form, and whether they call, message or ask for directions. That last one is the conversion for most local businesses, and until now nobody was counting it. From forms we record only the NAME of a field, never what is typed into it; our database does not even have a column that could hold it. Because no cookie is involved, no cookie banner is needed either — fwrd.digital/data sets out in plain language exactly what we do and do not measure.
- Neu Your report now reasons about real visitor behaviour instead of visitor counts alone. Where it used to say 'this page gets little traffic', it can now tell you that people give up at the phone field, or that a section is seen often but rarely clicked — with the number attached. Any suggestion that leans on such behaviour must name it concretely from now on: which block, which field, which figure. Vague appeals to 'engagement' no longer count as evidence.
- Neu Your site now improves itself by default. Until now that was switched off, and the switch was all-or-nothing — so almost everyone sensibly chose nothing. There are now four levels. Your site sits at level 1 by default: dull, measurable repairs (a missing page title, a broken link, alt text, the year in the footer) we simply make and tell you about; anything involving taste — rewriting copy, adding sections — stays with you. Pricing, contact details and legal text we never touch on our own, at any level. Every change we do make shows up in your weekly email with a one-click undo. Undo something, and from then on we ask first for that kind of change. And we pace ourselves: at most a handful of changes a week, never twice in the same section, never on a page you just edited yourself, and nothing at all during a pause you set.
- Neu You now decide how long we keep your site's visitor statistics — between 7 and 730 days, 90 by default. You will find it under Settings → Privacy & retention. Every night everything outside that window is deleted automatically, along with the daily secret used to count visitors; after that, who was who can no longer be worked out, not even by us. Also new: the data processing agreement we ask you to sign at checkout (legally required once we process data on your behalf), and a plain-language page setting out exactly what we measure and what we do not — and why no cookie banner is needed for it.
-
v2.2.1
- Behoben On the site dashboard, the website-traffic panel had an "Advanced analytics" button that pointed to a screen that does not exist yet. We removed the button until that advanced analytics view is actually there, so you no longer click into a dead end.
-
v2.2.0
- Neu Two-factor authentication is now a complete story instead of a single button. Setting it up takes four explained steps: choose a password first (if you do not have one — until now you could sign in with just an email code), link your authenticator app, confirm one code, and finally save ten recovery codes. Once it is on, we actually ask for that code when you sign in — before this you could switch 2FA on while your password alone still got you in. Lost your phone? A recovery code gets you back. And you can now change your password under Account → Password.
-
v2.1.6
- Behoben Inviting someone to your account did not work. You filled in an email address and got back nothing but "The invitation could not be saved" — so no invitation was ever sent. That is fixed: inviting works again, and re-inviting someone sends one fresh link instead of two.
- Behoben Error messages always came back in Dutch, even if you use the HUB in English, German, French, Spanish or Portuguese. So a Dutch sentence would appear in the middle of an English page. Every message from the server is now translated and follows the language you picked — including the ones on the sign-up form.
-
v2.1.5
- Behoben The site review reported "dead links" on every page with a form. Those were not dead links: the security script that keeps spam off your forms deliberately refuses automated checks, and our checker read that refusal as a broken link. It is skipped now, so this advice no longer shows up when nothing is wrong. Genuinely broken links are still reported.
-
v2.1.4
- Behoben On the dashboard, "Your site" showed a piece of internal configuration text glued to your site address, and the link did not work because of it. That has been cleaned up — your site address is now simply your site address everywhere again, including the share button, the site switcher, and the emails we send.
- Behoben Two more things around two-factor authentication. The QR code was only half drawn: a line of technical text appeared above it instead of just the image. And if you stopped halfway you could not start again afterwards — a half-finished setup stayed behind that you could not reach yourself. That now gets cleared the moment you try again.
-
v2.1.3
- Behoben Suggestions that need something from you are no longer applied automatically — and no longer sit there silently either. Think of the right social media link or a phone number: the assistant cannot know those, and making them up is not an option. Such suggestions now appear as a notification under the bell, show up under "Next steps" with the question attached, and the report email tells you how many are waiting on you. Fill it in and the assistant finishes the job.
- Behoben "Recent activity" on your dashboard now actually stays recent: notices about publishes, reports, domains and what the assistant remembered drop off after a week. Form submissions and a failed publish stay — an enquiry from three weeks ago is still a customer, and a publish that failed has still failed.
-
v2.1.2
- Behoben Turning on two-factor authentication works again. The "Set up MFA" button under Account → Security did nothing: no QR code appeared, and no error either. You can now link an authenticator app, and the screen remembers that it is on — with a button to turn it back off.
-
v2.1.1
- Behoben More tidying up on the phone. The chat now fills the whole screen instead of sitting in a little frame, and the "Show preview" button there is gone — it opened your site at exactly the size you were already looking at. Tapping your site's name at the top takes you straight to your sites instead of to the menu first, saving you a tap. And the visitor chart can no longer be cut off on a narrow screen: if a day no longer fits, you swipe the week sideways.
-
v2.1.0
- Behoben The builder works properly on a phone again. The "Edit with AI" button sat on top of the bottom bar and covered two buttons you could no longer tap; that bar now also scrolls sideways when it does not fit. And the panels that slide up from the bottom to edit something are taller, have a grab handle, and can be scrolled — anything that did not fit used to be simply cut off.
-
v2.0.1
- Behoben After paying for a domain you landed on a page that did not exist — whether you paid or changed your mind. You now come back to your site's domain screen with a clear message: paid and we are registering it, or cancelled and nothing was charged.
-
v2.0.0
- Platform The whole HUB now carries the same design as your dashboard — including your account, billing and every settings screen. The space between blocks is the same everywhere, lists and tables that carry on fade at the edge so you can see there is more, and repeated buttons are icons that name themselves on hover — which saves room in every row. After logging in you land straight in the site you were last working on, instead of on a stopover page listing all your sites — that choice already sits at the bottom left of every screen. Your account — billing, usage, settings, security — now lives under your profile picture in the top right instead of among your sites; the switcher at the bottom left is only about where you work. On a phone it has become its own screen instead of a shrunken desktop: a full-screen menu, quick actions along the bottom, and far less space lost to borders. Grey text and links are darker so they stay readable outdoors or on an older screen. Admin screens now search, filter and sort on any column, and status labels use colour to say whether something went well or went wrong.
- Neu Two things. Your footer can now have several columns, and you decide what goes in each one: a list of links, or a piece of formatted text — useful for your address, opening hours or a line about your business. Change nothing and your footer stays exactly as it was. And you can now look at a restore point before you restore it: from the history screen or inside the builder, open an older version on the canvas, have a look around, and only put it back once you are sure. Everything you made after that version stays right where it is.
- Neu The builder has been rebuilt around your site instead of around a form. Click a heading, a sentence or a button on your page and start typing — what you type is what stands there. Your site now fills the screen; the settings for whatever you click appear beside it, and the side panels can be folded away, or opened full width when you are writing a longer piece. All your pages now live in their own list with a search box, a split between ordinary pages and blog posts, and buttons on each page to configure, copy or remove it. On a phone it works the same way: your site fills the screen and the settings slide up from the bottom. Separately, under Account → Settings you can now pick your language — and that choice now also decides which language we email you in.
- Neu The last screens have been redesigned too. The builder, the screen that puts your site live and the checkout now carry the same warm design as the rest of FWRD Studio, and every window in the app behaves the same way: Escape closes it, your keyboard stays inside it, and the page behind it stays where it was. We also translated a few places that quietly stayed Dutch — including the screen where you pick your plan.
- Neu You can now work on the same account with several people. Under Account → Team you invite colleagues by email and give them a role: a team member works on the sites, an administrator also handles the team and domains, and the owner manages billing. The same page shows a table of exactly what each role can and cannot do, so you make that choice deliberately. Stepping back, or handing the business over? You can transfer ownership of the account to someone on your team — and it only goes through once you have both confirmed it from your own inbox.
- Neu You can now buy a domain directly from us. On your site's domain screen, search for a free name, pay yearly, and we point the DNS at your site straight away — no account to create elsewhere, nothing to connect by hand. The renewal price is shown from the start, because with many extensions the first year is cheaper than the years after it. You can cancel at any time; your domain then runs until its expiry date.
- Neu There is now a help centre inside the app: how FWRD works, searchable, and reachable with ⌘K from any screen. Missing something? Under “Request a feature” you can submit a request and see what we did with it — including our answer, even when it is a no. And your version history has its own screen: you can review your restore points and roll one back without opening the builder. When there is something new you now get a window with pictures instead of a list of one-liners — and only when there is actually something to announce. The form for reporting problems has been redesigned and now asks, in plain language, what happened.
- Behoben The builder is markedly faster. It redrew your whole page on every letter you typed, which made it sluggish once you had been working for a while — especially on a page with many blocks or a map on it. Now it only updates what you change: the rest of your page stays put, including the map that had already loaded and the answer you had opened.
-
v1.30.1
- Behoben When migrating an existing website, the build plan showed different colours than your own brand and your logo appeared to be gone. The plan now uses your real brand colours and shows your logo and favicon.
-
v1.30.0
- Neu Migrating an existing website? Paste the address in the start chat and we now carry over your brand as well as your text: your logo, favicon, brand colours, fonts and your own photos. We host those assets ourselves, so they keep working once your old site goes offline.
-
v1.29.1
- Behoben If you pasted only your website address in the start chat, the assistant said it couldn’t draft the plan. It now builds the plan from the research of your site instead.
-
v1.29.0
- Neu While your site is being built you now see how long it takes and that you should keep the tab open. You confirm your email in one place: at publish, with the address from the start chat already filled in.
-
v1.28.0
- Neu New: playbooks. Under AI memory you can record how a recurring job should go here; the assistant follows those steps whenever the situation comes up, and suggests a playbook itself when it spots a pattern (you decide whether to turn it on).
-
v1.27.1
- Behoben Your dashboard always said “Live since today”, even if your site had been online for weeks. It now shows the actual date your site first went live.
-
v1.26.1
- Behoben The email address you leave in the start chat is now pre-filled when you take your site live — no need to type it a second time.
- Behoben Your language is set from your country on first visit and then remembered — change it yourself via the language switcher.
-
v1.26.0
- Neu New sites and pages get keywords automatically: the agent researches relevant keywords (with popularity signals when available) and fills SEO fields. Site reports flag missing keywords and suggest them.
- Neu On site settings you can now collapse and expand sections — cleaner overview, with the danger zone (delete site) open by default.
-
v1.25.0
- Neu You can now choose which agent suggestion action types auto-apply (content, SEO, blocks, settings, technical) — instead of all-or-nothing.
- Behoben Google indexing stays your choice: we no longer turn it on automatically. Sites you set to noindex (or have not enabled yet) stay that way.
- Behoben Agent suggestions that stall while applying now fail visibly faster and get retried more often, instead of hanging silently for fifteen minutes.
- Behoben When you turn Google indexing on, we resubmit your sitemap to Search Console so Google picks up fresh pages faster.
-
v1.24.3
- Behoben New sites get stock photos compressed as WebP by default at generation time — not only later in the browser.
- Behoben Sites without their own favicon now load the FWRD icon from their own site (no longer via fwrd.digital), so browsers no longer show a security error.
-
v1.24.2
- Behoben Photos on your site load faster: Pexels stock images are now served as WebP/AVIF at the right size, and the hero photo no longer blocks the page unnecessarily.
-
v1.24.1
- Behoben On sites with rounded corners, titles under photo gallery images are no longer clipped by that rounding.
-
v1.24.0
- Neu Tell the AI something it should remember — a preference, a fact about your business, an agreement — and it now keeps that in your site's memory. Those notes come back in later chats and in the builder, so you don't have to explain yourself every time.
- Neu On Grow and above you can add your own Google Analytics 4 measurement or Google Tag Manager under Settings → Analytics, alongside FWRD's. Pick one of the two; it only loads after visitors accept cookies.
- Neu You can now sign in with a code from your email: request it, enter the six digits, and you're in. The magic link in the email still works, and signing in with a password is still available.
- Neu Under Settings you now manage logo, favicon and share image in one place. The share image shows a preview like in chat or a feed, with recommended sizes on every upload — so you immediately see how your site looks when someone shares the link.
- Neu Add your WhatsApp number or link under Settings and a green WhatsApp button appears in the bottom corner of your site, so visitors can start a chat with you straight away. Don't want it somewhere? Switch it off per page under page settings in the studio.
- Neu If we send you an invitation with a personal code, it puts your first month at zero automatically at checkout. Your card details are captured right away, so your subscription simply continues after the free period without you having to do anything.
- Behoben Uploading images in the builder and under Settings is clearer: drag or click to upload, see a preview with a cross to clear it, and immediately read which size we recommend (for example 1200 × 630 for sharing).
- Behoben FWRD confirmation and sign-in emails now follow your account language, instead of always forcing Dutch or English.
- Behoben Outside the EU, the UK and Switzerland we no longer ask for a cookie choice: measurement is allowed there without prior consent, and you can always switch it off under Settings. Nothing changes inside those regions — there we keep asking up front.
-
v1.23.0
- Neu Enquiries you leave in the intake are now also reported to our ad measurement server-side, so they are not lost to an ad blocker. No email address is ever sent — only an irreversibly encrypted representation.
- Neu When you leave your email address in the intake, we now record which campaign or ad brought you in. That was not stored anywhere before, so every enquiry came in as 'direct'.
- Behoben The cookie choice is now a clear dialog instead of a small card in the corner, with a button to choose per category. It matches dark screens, and you can confirm straight away with Enter.
-
v1.22.3
- Behoben If you arrive via an ad or campaign link, the campaign details in that link are now preserved when you land on the homepage. They used to be dropped immediately, which made it impossible to see which campaign someone came from.
- Behoben Your cookie choice on fwrd.digital now also applies in the portal, and vice versa. You previously had to choose twice, because each domain kept its own record.
-
v1.22.2
- Behoben The AI now remembers far more of your conversation: up to 50 turns back, in every chat — the intake, the builder and the chat in your dashboard. Previously the builder only looked back a handful of messages, so 'remove that' or 'put that text back' stopped landing after a while.
- Behoben Documents you upload now count towards the notice that a conversation is getting very long. An uploaded brief weighs as much as dozens of messages, but used to count as nothing — so the warning came too late.
-
v1.22.1
- Behoben The start page — where you begin a new site — stayed in English when you'd picked German, French, Spanish or Portuguese, including the sidebar and the preferences panel. Those are now fully translated, like the rest of the HUB.
-
v1.22.0
- Neu Your dashboard conversation history now shows your whole journey, not just individual chats: your intake conversation and the edits you made in the builder now appear too, clearly labelled. Key moments — like choosing to generate your site, your site being created, or market research being run — show up as clear milestone lines between the messages.
- Neu The AI chats now warn you when a conversation gets very long: you'll see a notice with a button to start a new chat so the AI stays sharp. For an exceptionally long conversation we'll ask you to start a fresh chat before continuing. Your site is always kept.
- Behoben The AI assistant in the builder now remembers your conversation. Follow-ups like 'remove it' or 'make it bigger' now refer to what you just changed — previously each message was read in isolation, so a follow-up like that often failed.
-
v1.21.0
- Neu The HUB now also speaks German, French, Spanish and Portuguese, alongside Dutch and English. Pick your language from the language menu and we'll remember it. New visitors are matched to the language that fits their country automatically.
-
v1.20.1
- Behoben The sidebar on the start page now opens by default when your screen is wide enough, so you can read what every button does instead of guessing at a row of unlabelled icons. Collapse it yourself and we remember that choice — and every icon gets a tooltip on hover.
-
v1.20.0
- Behoben A Deep review on a large site (many pages) sometimes incorrectly reported 'failed' right before the finish, even though the report was actually ready. The watchdog that aborts stuck reports was counting healthy intermediate steps; that's corrected, and a report that has already been saved is now always delivered properly. Large reviews also run noticeably faster.
-
v1.19.0
- Neu New: the Deep review. The agent reads every page of your site in full, identifies your market and looks up your direct competitors: what do they have that you're missing, and which opportunities is nobody in your market taking? You get a score per area (content, search visibility, conversion, technical and competitive position) that you can watch climb report over report, plus an unlimited number of improvement suggestions, ranked from quick win to strategic move. A deep review takes 5–10 minutes and runs entirely in the background — feel free to close the page, you'll get an email the moment your report is ready.
- Neu Every account gets one free Deep review. It unlocks once your site has been live for two weeks — so there's real data to discover something in — and you'll get an email the moment it's ready.
- Neu If the agent finds a technical issue on our side during a review, it reports it to FWRD itself and your report shows that it did — nothing for you to do.
- Neu If your last review is more than 30 days old, your dashboard now tells you: all visitor data since then is still unanalyzed. One click starts a fresh review or turns on weekly reports.
- Neu The assistant on the start page now builds your site to a plan. It recognises what kind of site you need (business, portfolio, event, club or personal page) and matches the tone — a personal site gets no sales talk. For a business it researches your competitors right away: what they do, what they miss, and how you get ahead. Before building you see a clear build plan — which sections, which style and why — and after building it honestly lists the assumptions it made so you can check them. Optionally leave your email and it digs even deeper into your market.
-
v1.18.1
- Behoben If you asked the builder assistant to carry over text from an existing page via a link (for example your privacy policy or terms & conditions), it created a page with placeholder text instead of the real content. The assistant now reads such a link itself and truly carries the text over — legal pages word-for-word, 1-on-1. If the link can't be read, it says so honestly instead of pretending.
- Behoben Gallery cards sometimes showed an English title on a Dutch-language site. That text was internal photo-search metadata and doesn't belong on your site: the card title is now simply the caption you see and edit yourself, in your site's language. Existing sites correct themselves on their next publish.
-
v1.18.0
- Neu Migrating from an existing site? The start chat now reads your current page far more thoroughly: all services, prices, texts, reviews and contact details go into an extensive report that feeds the first version of your new site. If you share a legal page (privacy or terms), it is preserved word-for-word — in the builder the assistant places it 1-on-1 on its own page, on existing sites too. The start assistant is also more upfront about what the first generation delivers (one page, extendable in the builder).
- Neu New in the builder: a History tab with all your restore points. Every publish automatically saves a version; roll your site (or a single page) back to an earlier version in one click. The chat assistant knows your history too: say 'restore the previous version' and you pick and confirm the restore point right in the conversation.
-
v1.17.8
- Behoben New sites sometimes got 'Contact' twice in the navigation, and those buttons pointed at a section that wasn't on the page, so they did nothing. Navigation now always points at a section that really exists and duplicate buttons are cleaned up — existing sites heal automatically on their next publish.
-
v1.17.7
- Behoben Visibility on Google is always off (noindex) on the Free plan — but the chat agent and the builder sometimes acted as if they could enable it. Wherever you try, you now see a clear locked notice with an upgrade option: in chat, in the builder and on agent suggestions.
- Behoben On the suggestions screen the agent's question was sometimes cut off mid-sentence and the answer field was a single narrow line. The question now shows in full and your answer fits in a larger text box. You can also drag screenshots straight into the bug report window.
-
v1.17.6
- Behoben On very narrow screens the 'Attach files' and 'Improve prompt' buttons under the start form did not fit side by side. The attach button now shows just the paperclip icon there, so 'Improve prompt' stays readable.
-
v1.17.5
- Behoben You can now actually restore a deleted site within 90 days, as promised: deleted sites stay on your dashboard with a restore button and the date they disappear for good. You also receive an email with a restore link after deleting. Our emails no longer contain emoji either.
-
v1.17.4
- Behoben The stray 'n' label inside the 'New site' button on the dashboard is gone. Starting a new site with the n keyboard shortcut still works.
-
v1.17.3
- Behoben The 'View plans' button on the site settings page had white text on a lime-green button, making it hard to read. The text is now dark and clearly legible.
-
v1.17.2
- Behoben The screen where you pick a site got a refresh: every site now has its own colored initial tile so you scan the list faster, the web address sits on the card as one calm line, and the search field and 'New site' button line up neatly at the top.
- Behoben On the usage page, actions via the MCP connection still showed their technical name (like "mcp_generate_reserve"). They are now simply called "Page generation (MCP)" and "Edit (MCP)".
-
v1.17.1
- Behoben A big polish pass across the whole portal: numbers line up neatly in overviews and tables, long names and addresses no longer spill out of their frames, buttons are easier to tap on mobile, and colors and contrast are consistent everywhere.
-
v1.17.0
- Neu You can now build multiple pages without an account: the builder preview allows up to 3 pages. After that we tell you honestly how to continue — free account: up to 10 pages, Grow: unlimited.
-
v1.16.5
- Behoben Our AI assistants didn't know yet that multiple pages are now part of the free plan too. The build assistant refused multi-page requests and messages wrongly pointed to a paid plan. Everything now tells the right story: your first draft is one page, after that you add up to 10 for free — and unlimited on Grow or Pro.
-
v1.16.4
- Behoben On mobile, a long site address would break out of the label at the top of your site overview and overlap the rest of the page. The address is now neatly shortened with an ellipsis.
-
v1.16.3
- Behoben Long site addresses also didn't fit their label on your dashboard's site cards. They are now shortened instead of wrapping across the card.
-
v1.16.2
- Behoben On smaller screens, the chat send button on the start page stuck out past the input field. The buttons now arrange themselves neatly inside the field.
-
v1.16.1
- Behoben In build mode, the text next to 'Save & continue' looked oddly stretched across three lines on mobile. Line spacing is back to normal.
-
v1.16.0
- Neu You can now cancel directly in the hub, no detour via Stripe. Tell us briefly why you're leaving (we learn from it), get one fitting offer where it makes sense — like two months free or pausing your subscription — and see exactly what happens when, before you confirm. Change your mind? Until the end of your paid period one click turns everything back on.
- Neu You can now truly delete a site: from the danger zone in your site settings we take it offline and clean everything up — hosting, domain link, analytics and spam filter. We keep your content for 90 days, so within that window we can restore everything if you wish.
-
v1.15.1
- Behoben Issues only FWRD can fix — such as a security script blocked by our infrastructure — no longer appear as suggestions in your Studio. Applying such a suggestion would always fail. They now go straight to our team as a report, so a developer can fix it on our side.
- Behoben If applying a suggestion fails, you can now report it to us with one click. We will look into it and fix it on our side if the cause is ours — and you can still simply try again.
-
v1.15.0
- Neu Some improvements the agent cannot make up — like your correct TikTok link or phone number. Such suggestions now ask for it when you apply: you fill it in, and the agent uses exactly what you provide. Auto-apply skips these suggestions until you approve them yourself.
- Neu New on your site overview: an agent progress card. See how many suggestions are ready for you, how many were found and applied in the last 30 days, and the latest report's conclusion — so you can see at a glance that your site is improving.
- Behoben Checkout works again for everyone. A small number of accounts had an outdated link to our payment system, so the payment page would not start after 'Confirm and pay'. The HUB now repairs that link automatically and continues straight to the payment page.
- Behoben The cost your AI assistant quotes before you confirm an action is correct again. Since the revamped site report the HUB reserves more credits for a report, but the assistant still showed the old, too-low figure on the confirmation card. Both now read the same rate, so what you see up front is what happens.
-
v1.14.1
- Behoben Approving several suggestions in quick succession now works reliably: approved suggestions join a queue and the agent applies them one at a time. Each suggestion shows whether it is queued or being applied, and you can still withdraw a waiting one.
-
v1.14.0
- Neu The report page has been redesigned. Your report now reads as a checkup in five clear chapters — traffic, where visitors come from, enquiries, content and technical health — with the plain-language conclusion first and the numbers below it. While generating you see live which step the agent is on, and the automation settings now sit neatly at the bottom (also on the suggestions page).
- Behoben The site checkup wrongly flagged protected email links (Cloudflare email protection) as broken links. These platform links are now recognised and no longer reported as an issue.
- Behoben When switching to another site's report, the previous site's report could briefly stick around. The page now always shows the data of the site you are viewing.
-
v1.13.0
- Neu The site report is now a full marketing analysis. See visitors and enquiries per page, where visitors come from, which pages need attention and whether your site has broken links — with up to eight concrete improvement suggestions you can apply in one click.
- Neu Form submissions now show which page the message was sent from. Useful when your site has multiple forms or several pages with a form. Existing sites include this after their next publish.
- Neu Extra protection against console scams. If someone asks you to paste something into the browser console ("to unlock a free feature"), it's a scam — pasting can hand someone else access to your account. The console itself now shows a clear warning, and the new /security page explains what to do if it already happened and where to report vulnerabilities.
- Neu You now decide whether we may use cookies for analytics. On your first visit we ask compactly at the bottom of the screen; you can change your choice any time via Account → Settings → Cookies & analytics.
-
v1.12.0
- Neu Improved platform analytics. We get better insight into how the platform is used, so we can prioritise improvements where they matter most. Nothing changes in how you use the platform.
-
v1.11.2
- Behoben Form submissions come through properly again. A dropdown (for example "preferred time") stayed empty because its options never made it onto your site, and submissions on a client site were missing from the inbox even though they had arrived. Both are fixed, and no existing submissions were lost.
-
v1.11.1
- Behoben On the chat page the title was partly hidden behind the top bar because the page was slightly taller than your screen. That's fixed. The input field also still referred to the "MCP chat"; it now simply invites you to ask a question or describe a change.
-
v1.11.0
- Neu Working on your site through Claude (MCP)? You now get a proper FWRD card before every action that costs credits — what the agent will do, what it costs and a green confirm button — and a result card afterwards with the page URL plus buttons to publish right away or open the builder.
- Behoben We now state clearly how long we keep AI conversations: up to 90 days for quality and support, after which they are deleted automatically. You will find it at the chat and under Data & privacy in your account settings.
- Behoben Multiple pages now behave the way you'd expect. The preview has tabs to pick which page you're viewing (it previously always showed the homepage), pages created by the AI assistant show up in your menu automatically, and menu links pointing at a page that doesn't exist are cleaned up instead of sending visitors to a 404.
- Behoben You can now wipe a site's AI memory in one go. That clears all your notes plus the summarised edit history the assistant kept — previously you could only delete notes one by one, and that history stayed behind, invisible.
-
v1.10.3
- Behoben Asking for a site that isn't a business — a personal page, portfolio, event, wedding, club or hobby — still produced a company brochure, complete with "Our services", invented figures like "10+ years of experience" and a request-a-quote button. The Site Builder now works out what your site is actually about first and writes copy and buttons to match. Nothing changes for businesses.
- Behoben Creating an account with an email address we already knew failed with "Account creation failed". You now simply receive an email to continue with.
-
v1.10.2
- Behoben Generating pages through Claude (MCP) broke off on longer generations — the connection gave up after a minute while your page was still being built. The integration now keeps the connection alive until your page is ready.
-
v1.10.1
- Neu Once your custom domain is verified, your site now switches over to it automatically — links, previews and search engines point at your own address instead of the fwrd.digital subdomain.
- Behoben Arriving at signup from a paid plan on the pricing page? The signup page now reflects that plan instead of showing the generic free-tier copy.
-
v1.10.0
- Neu Click a higher plan on the pricing page while you already run a site? You now land straight in your HUB with an upgrade dialog showing exactly what you pay for the remaining period.
- Neu Screens that are still fetching numbers or domain status now say so. Your dashboard briefly claimed “no data yet” while your stats were still loading, and the domain page flashed the “add a domain” screen even when you already had one.
-
v1.9.0
- Neu Pick a paid plan on fwrd.digital and you now create your account first, with the builder starting on that plan right away — at go-live you skip the plan picker and check out directly. Already running a site? You land straight in your HUB.
- Neu When your AI assistant creates or changes a page, you now get a card with the result: which page it is, the address it will live at, a short summary of what is on it, and what it cost in credits. Not happy with it? 'Redo' generates that same page again — replacing the previous version instead of adding a second one next to it, and showing you the cost again before anything is charged.
- Behoben The HUB now shows the right language straight away. Dutch visitors briefly saw the page in English before it switched over; that flash is gone.
- Behoben Icons in your services blocks now actually render on your site and in the preview — previously an empty square appeared. The assistant now picks from a fixed set of matching icons.
- Behoben If you've connected your own domain, the builder and preview now show that address instead of the fwrd.digital subdomain.
- Behoben The AI chat now fits neatly on your screen on mobile, and the 'report a bug' button no longer overlaps the send button.
- Behoben New sites get a shorter, readable web address — a long business description no longer becomes your subdomain verbatim.
- Behoben The AI memory limit message (200 notes) now appears in your language.
- Behoben The assistant now keeps copy in short blocks (like the hero) concise and places long-form content in a text block.
-
v1.8.0
- Neu The explainer behind "Learn more" on the start screen has been rewritten from scratch and now lives on fwrd.digital. The old text still described a FWRD that could only build a single page — the new one shows what is actually in there, and what deliberately is not.
- Neu You can now upload your logo, favicon and share image directly under Settings and in the builder — no more hosting them elsewhere and pasting a link. And when you change your site's title, the name in the HUB now follows along.
- Neu More room on every plan. Free goes from 1 to 10 pages, and Grow and Pro now have unlimited pages. Grow also covers 5 sites instead of 1. And you no longer have to go live before you can create extra pages — you can do it right away.
- Neu Existing sites now have a privacy and cookie policy too. Your cookie notice already linked to them, but the pages did not exist yet — they have been created for you, in your site's language, without changing anything on your own pages. The contact address on them is the email you signed up with, which is publicly visible on your site. You'll get a one-time message in the HUB about this, with a button to change it.
-
v1.7.0
- Neu Your AI assistant can now read and rewrite your pages too. Ask what is on a page and you get a section-by-section overview — the opening section, your FAQ, your pricing — in plain language. To change something, name the section and say what should be different: a shorter heading, a rewritten paragraph, an extra question. Only that section changes, the rest stays put. Editing uses credits just like in the HUB, and you see the cost up front. In Claude you now also get a card showing the cost, your balance and a button to confirm.
- Neu Your site now gets a real privacy and cookie policy. Until now those were only linked under the cookie notice but did not actually exist — they are created for you automatically, in your site's language, and describe exactly what your site does. You can edit them yourself; the top of the page always shows when they were last updated. Also: the cookie notice and your 404 page now speak your site's language instead of defaulting to Dutch, your 404 page has a new design in your own brand style, and visitors can always change their cookie choice again through the link at the bottom of your site. Fill in your company name and email address under Settings → Legal details to complete the policies.
- Behoben Important fix for MCP access: asking your AI assistant to generate a new page overwrote your existing pages, branding and navigation, leaving just one page behind. From now on a generated page is added alongside the others and everything else is left untouched. Your assistant can now also list your pages (so it won't create duplicates) and respects the page limit of your plan. Reports run through your assistant now show the actual suggestions instead of just a count, and are correctly recorded as your 'last report'.
-
v1.6.1
- Behoben You now always get the newest version of the HUB right away. After an update your browser sometimes kept showing the old page, so you had to refresh to see new features. That's fixed — updates now arrive on their own.
-
v1.6.0
- Neu MCP access is much easier to set up now. Under Account → Settings → MCP access, simply pick the program you use — Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor or VS Code — and you get numbered steps with ready-made blocks to copy. If you just created a token, it is already filled in for you: copy, paste, done. No technical knowledge required.
-
v1.5.0
- Neu New: MCP access. Connect FWRD to your AI assistant — Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code or any other MCP client that supports custom headers — and manage your sites straight from the conversation: view your sites, generate pages and run reports. Create a token under Account → Settings → MCP access. Paid actions use the same credits as the HUB and show the cost before you confirm. You can only ever reach your own sites. (ChatGPT requires an OAuth login for connectors and cannot be connected yet — we're working on it.)
-
v1.4.0
- Neu Files you upload now show up in the conversation: your attached documents and images appear neatly under your message. And while the assistant works, a live card shows what it's doing — thinking, updating your site, finding images — instead of just a spinner.
- Neu Your chat conversations are now kept. From the menu you can open and switch between earlier conversations, or start a new one. The document icon in the top right shows every file you uploaded in that conversation at a glance.
-
v1.3.0
- Neu You can now attach files to the AI — PDF, Word, text, Markdown, CSV and more — and the assistant actually reads them. Upload a brief as a PDF and ask it to build that into your site; it now uses the text from the document instead of just the file name.
- Neu The AI assistants (at start, in the builder and in chat) now give fuller, more complete answers and remember more of your conversation. You can also send longer messages and briefs in one go.
- Behoben Clear up front: when you start in the builder and when you create an account, you now see a short notice linking to our Terms of Service, EULA and Privacy Policy — so you know what you're agreeing to.
- Behoben Published sites now use the FWRD icon as their default favicon instead of the Astro logo. You can also upload your own favicon (PNG) in the builder — we scale it to the right size automatically.
- Behoben Changing the subdomain of an already-published site now takes effect automatically: the new address goes live and the old one is only removed once the new one is confirmed working — so no downtime.
- Behoben The AI assistant now replies in the language you write in. If you typed in English you would sometimes get a Dutch reply.
- Behoben New sites and pages only get a contact block with a map when there's a real address. Without one you now get a contact form instead of an empty map.
- Behoben In the builder, blocks with multiple text fields now stack neatly and longer texts are proper text areas — much easier to edit.
- Behoben Smaller polish: the back button on the custom-domain page returns to your dashboard, the analytics upgrade button is now readable, and the chat no longer leaves an empty gap after it finishes thinking.

v1.2.0
- Neu When you report a bug you can now tick a box to stay in the loop. You'll get a confirmation and an email whenever we change your report's status — in your own language.
-
v1.1.0
- Neu You can now see what your plan allows in sites. At your limit, you can upgrade in one step — you only pay the difference for the rest of your period.
- Behoben Setting your own name now actually works: the dashboard greets you with the name you enter, instead of one guessed from your email address.
- Behoben Emails about your site now arrive in the language you signed up in. Dutch-speaking customers sometimes received them in English.
-
v1.0.0
- Platform FWRD is live. Pick a template, shape your brand in the builder, check out, and your site goes live on your own domain automatically — after that you manage everything from the portal.
- Neu The portal speaks Dutch and English. We pick your language based on your country, and you can switch manually at any time.
- Neu See visitor stats, usage and billing for every site in a single overview.
