Changelog
Novedades del portal FWRD. Trabajamos en la plataforma sin parar. Aquí ves exactamente qué cambió y cuándo.
Versión actual v2.105.16
-
v2.105.11
- Corregido When we build a new site, a generic photo from your old site, such as a hand holding a phone, no longer ends up by itself in a section about you or your work.
-
v2.105.10
- Corregido When you save something in the portal, such as your name, a team invite, a feature request or a decision on a suggestion, and tap a link right after, that page now opens. If the save came back while the page was loading, you stayed on the old page.
-
v2.105.9
- Corregido When you close the notice about the data processing agreement or agree to it, and tap a link right after, that page now opens. If the save came back while the page was loading, you stayed on the old page.
-
v2.105.8
- Corregido When the bar above the menu shows your phone number, the menu now keeps a call button on large screens once it sticks to the top while scrolling. Before, the number scrolled away and no call button was left in view.
-
v2.105.7
- Corregido Forms on your site now fully speak your site's language: the thank-you message after sending, the error message, 'Sending…' on the button, the steps of a step-by-step form and 'Or email' next to the button were still in English.
-
v2.105.6
- Corregido A long button label in the hero, such as "Not urgent? Book an appointment", now wraps neatly onto two lines on a narrow phone. Before, such a button pushed the page slightly sideways. The large call button stays on one line.
-
v2.105.5
- Corregido Reporting a bug now also works when you use the app in German, French, Spanish or Portuguese. Until now such a report was lost with an error.
-
v2.105.4
- Corregido The support chat and the billing help article now tell you where to change your billing details yourself (name, address, email and VAT number), instead of passing your question on to a person.
-
v2.105.3
- Corregido When you bring your existing website along, your blog overview now keeps the name it had on your old site: if your menu said “News”, your new site says “News” too, in the menu and above the overview, instead of “Blog” or “News Archives”.
-
v2.105.1
- Corregido Logging out from the menu under your profile photo, top right, works again. The button did nothing and you stayed signed in on the same page.
-
v2.103.0
- Nuevo You can now set a profile photo in Settings. It shows top right and in the menu instead of your initials.
-
v2.102.13
- Corregido An AI edit that mentioned the name of another page, such as a home page button you rename to "View my services" or "Contact us", sometimes answered "Nothing on your site changed" on sites with several pages. That edit now goes through.
-
v2.102.11
- Corregido Footer text on a mid-tone brand colour, such as bright red, mid blue or green, is now easy to read everywhere: the footer colour shifts slightly lighter or darker for it. Footers that already had enough contrast stay exactly the same.
-
v2.102.10
- Corregido The preview in the editor now shows your site the way it looks live: a long heading shrinks until its longest word fits on one line instead of breaking mid-word, your logo sits in a box up to 48 pixels tall instead of a fixed 32, text in a dark footer is readable again, and when your phone number already shows in the bar above the menu, the menu no longer adds a second call button.
-
v2.102.8
- Corregido Going back while a page was still loading, for example right after a reload, showed the address of the previous page while the new page stayed on screen. Back now shows the page you came from in that case too.
-
v2.102.7
- Corregido On your phone, tapping a page in the menu or in search and then going back showed the address of the previous page while the new page stayed on screen. Back now shows the page you came from again, and so does forward.
-
v2.102.2
- Corregido When we build a new site we now look at your own photos first. A photo lands next to the text it belongs to, and brand advertising images no longer show up as your own work.
-
v2.102.1
- Corregido A form next to your page heading without its own fields showed English labels on a Dutch site: Name, Email, Message and a Send button. Those labels and the button now follow your site's language, as does a form or contact block without its own button text. Your own fields and button text stay as you set them.
-
v2.102.0
- Nuevo The support chat is now also on fwrd.digital: tap the button at the bottom right to ask a question, even before you have an account. If you are logged in, the chat recognises you.
-
v2.101.5
- Corregido When you ask the assistant how many credits you have, it now gives your balance and your monthly allowance as two separate numbers, along with what gets added each month. If your balance was above your monthly allowance, it could previously say something like "72 of your 30 per month".
-
v2.101.3
- Corregido Ask the support chat whether FWRD can do a web shop with checkout and you now get an honest answer straight away: FWRD does not build that, but you can add a product overview with a contact or order form in the builder. When the chat is not sure whether something is possible, such as a second language or an integration, it says so and asks whether it may pass your question to someone at FWRD, instead of passing it on right away.
-
v2.101.2
- Corregido When you pay for a plan or a domain, the payment page now uses the language of your account, and your domain on the payment page and your invoice is no longer always called 'Domein …' in Dutch.
-
v2.101.1
- Corregido When your question in the support chat does not reach us, the chat no longer promises a reply by email; it gives you support@fwrd.digital so you can email us directly.
-
v2.99.4
- Corregido In the support chat, a reference to a help article is now a link you can tap, and bold words no longer show asterisks.
-
v2.99.3
- Corregido On your phone, the back button no longer does nothing once after you moved to another page with the support chat open: every press now takes you one step back.
-
v2.99.2
- Corregido On your phone, the back button now closes the open support chat, instead of leaving the page while the chat stayed open.
-
v2.99.1
- Corregido On a new site with several pages, the button at the top right of the menu now takes you to the form from every page. On pages other than the homepage that button did nothing.
-
v2.99.0
- Nuevo A new site from the builder now starts with a design brief: who the site is for, which tone fits and which pages it needs. Then we write your homepage and the other pages that fit your offer, up to six pages together, and a final edit reviews the whole site. It takes a few minutes, and you see what is happening along the way. The design brief is then kept in your site's memory, so the assistant takes it into account when you change something later.
-
v2.98.2
- Corregido The report email is now entirely in your account's language. When the report is in another language, the language of your site, the email names that language instead of showing the headline and summary in it.
-
v2.98.0
- Nuevo On the Free plan the free monthly report now also arrives by email, with a link to read it. You can unsubscribe from the email or in your email preferences.
-
v2.97.1
- Corregido When you create a new site while you already have a paid plan, the report on that site is now set to monthly as well. Until now it was off, so such a site never got a report. The first report comes a month after you create the site, once it is live. You can make it more frequent or turn it off in the report settings.
-
v2.96.5
- Corregido Below every help article and when a search finds nothing, the help centre now points to Report a bug in the menu, the button you actually see there.
-
v2.96.4
- Corregido Free accounts now get 30 credits again every month, as the pricing page says. Credits you don't use in a month don't carry over to the next.
-
v2.96.2
- Corregido In Dutch, the help centre and the support chat now name the menus the way the app shows them, such as Facturatie and Verbruik instead of Billing and Usage.
-
v2.96.1
- Corregido The support chat no longer asks for your email address when you are logged in: we already have it, and the reply goes there.
-
v2.94.1
- Corregido The explanation of a technical word no longer falls off the top of your phone screen: when there is no room above the word, it opens below it.
-
v2.94.0
- Nuevo On the free plan your site overview shows whether your site is on Google, with a button that starts your 90 free days. From day 80 it shows the end date, and you get one reminder by email.
-
v2.93.3
- Corregido If your paid site is hidden from Google, your site overview tells you again, with a button that turns on indexing in one click.
-
v2.93.2
- Corregido When you ask the support chat about prices, it now links to the pricing page, which also works when you are not logged in, instead of to the login screen. It also no longer passes such a question on to a person when that is not needed.
-
v2.91.0
- Nuevo Support chat in the app: ask our assistant your question at the bottom right. If it cannot help, or you would rather talk to a person, it passes your question to someone at FWRD.
-
v2.90.0
- Nuevo On the Free plan a live site now gets a free monthly report with its three most important improvements. Reading them is free; applying them in one click comes with Grow.
-
v2.89.0
- Nuevo The assistant in the builder now explains technical words such as DNS, indexing and credits with the same sentence as the explanation of that word in the app, in your own language. The explanation of credits now also says that a question to the assistant uses credits.
-
v2.88.0
- Nuevo Technical words such as indexing, DNS, SSL, credits and favicon now have a dotted underline: tap or point at one for a one-sentence explanation in your own language. The existing info icons now also open with a tap on your phone.
-
v2.87.0
- Nuevo If your site still gets few visitors, your scheduled report compares it with businesses in the same field and region, and the report says what it is based on: your own visitors or that comparison.
-
v2.85.3
- Corregido Sites on a paid plan no longer show "Made with FWRD" at the bottom of the footer. A free site keeps the badge.
-
v2.85.2
- Corregido Tapping or clicking the i icon next to a heading in your site settings no longer opens or closes that section.
-
v2.85.1
- Corregido On the Free plan, asking the chat or the builder to make your site findable on Google now points you to the 90 free days under Settings. Saving in the builder also no longer turns indexing off after you turned it on under Settings.
-
v2.85.0
- Nuevo On the free plan you can now make your site findable on Google for 90 days. Turn indexing on under Settings; the end date is shown there. After that it turns off again, unless you move to a paid plan.
-
v2.84.3
- Corregido When you start a paid plan, the report on your site is now set to monthly. Until now it was off, so a paid site never got a report. You can make it more frequent or turn it off in the report settings.
-
v2.83.5
- Corregido If you keep typing in the builder while it is still saving and then leave or reload the page right away, your last change is back the next time you open it.
-
v2.83.3
- Corregido A change you make in the builder just before going back to your site is now still saved. Before, that last change was lost if you clicked away within a second.
-
v2.83.0
- Nuevo The assistant in the builder can now put an events calendar on your site. Ask for it and give your events with date and time, and it builds the Events calendar block for you. It only does so when you ask, and it never makes up dates.
-
v2.82.0
- Nuevo New block in the builder: an events calendar. Put your events on your site with date, time, location and category; visitors filter by category and add one event, or the whole calendar, to their own calendar in one click (.ics). Past events disappear on their own, unless you choose to keep them.
-
v2.81.1
- Corregido On your phone, the back button now also closes an open window, such as reporting a problem, sharing your site, what's new, page settings, preferences or the documents and preview in the chat, instead of leaving the page.
-
v2.80.11
- Corregido Two-step sign-in, the Security and Password pages in your account, the page explaining what we measure on your site and a site's privacy settings now appear in German, French, Spanish and Portuguese instead of English.
-
v2.80.10
- Corregido The browser tab title of the start screen now follows your language, like the rest of the page.
-
v2.80.9
- Corregido The Dutch billing page and a few other Dutch texts now spell 'pagina’s' correctly and say 'Abonnement' instead of the English word 'Subscription'.
-
v2.80.8
- Corregido On a phone the search window now stays above the keyboard: you see your search field and the results, and the list scrolls inside the window. A result from the help centre shows its title again.
- Corregido On a phone the bar at the bottom steps aside while you type: in the chat with your site you see more of the conversation above the keyboard. Close the keyboard and the bar is back.
-
v2.80.6
- Corregido On your phone, the back button now closes the open menu, search, block picker or notifications first, instead of leaving the page.
-
v2.80.5
- Corregido The description of the free plan on the billing page now appears in German, French, Spanish and Portuguese instead of English.
-
v2.80.4
- Corregido On an Android phone the back button now closes your site's menu instead of sending your visitor away from the site. A long company name at the top of the menu wraps neatly and no longer pushes the close button away.
-
v2.80.3
- Corregido When you arrive through a link that carries a language, such as from fwrd.digital, the app now opens in that language instead of the language of the country you are in.
-
v2.80.1
- Corregido When you leave your email address on the start page or with the website check, we no longer store your IP address with it, as our privacy statement promises.
-
v2.79.22
- Plataforma The footer of your site now shows "Made with FWRD" as text next to the logo, in the preview too.
-
v2.79.21
- Corregido You get a heads-up again when you have used 80% of your monthly credits.
-
v2.79.18
- Corregido If you take a page out of the menu at the top of your site and later ask the AI to put it back, it now really shows up in the menu again. Before, it stayed out, even though the change counted as done.
-
v2.79.17
- Corregido If you claim a preview site we built for your business, buttons and links in the builder now only point to pages the site actually has, just like in the preview itself. Before, a link to a page that did not exist could come along with the claim and show an error page once you published.
-
v2.79.15
- Corregido When you bring your existing website along, buttons and links on your new home page now only point to pages your site actually has. Before, a button could point to a page from your old site that did not come along, which then showed an error page. Such a link now goes to the page it meant, such as contact for 'Book an appointment', or is left out.
-
v2.79.13
- Corregido When you ask the AI to change one page, the text on your other pages now stays exactly as it was. Before, it sometimes reworded a sentence there along the way.
-
v2.79.12
- Corregido The blog on your site now uses your site's language: search, sorting, reading time and the heading above the other articles showed in English on a Dutch site. And when you bring over the blogs from your old site, every article keeps its old address, even with a long title.
-
v2.79.11
- Corregido When you ask the assistant for a change and nothing on your site changes, it no longer costs credits and no longer tells you all your pages were updated. When something does change, the assistant only names the pages that actually changed. A change through the assistant or a new page in the builder also no longer removes Home from your menu, or moves the pages from the "More" footer column back into the header.
-
v2.79.10
- Corregido Review stars now match the score: a rating out of 10 (such as 9.79 or 7.2) is read as out of 10, and stars round down to the nearest half star. A 4.5 or 4.8 now shows 4½ stars instead of five, on the site and in the preview.
-
v2.79.8
- Corregido When you bring your existing website along and it shows stars as icons next to your reviews, those stars now come with them to your new site. Before, they were dropped and your reviews arrived without stars.
-
v2.79.6
- Corregido Your data download now also includes your sites' AI memory, your own skills, your messages to the assistant and the reports you sent us. If something cannot be read, you get an error instead of an incomplete file.
-
v2.79.5
- Corregido Importing blog posts from your old site now also brings along articles without their own main heading, as on many WordPress themes, and leaves out the sidebar with recent posts and archives. If your old site redirects every article address to its homepage, you no longer get a fake article.
-
v2.79.4
- Corregido When you bring your existing website along, your blog now comes with it as a real blog: a blog overview and every article as its own page with date and photo, at the same address as on your old site. Before, your blog became a row of cards on a regular page and the articles themselves were left behind.
- Corregido Importing blog posts from your old site now finds every article on sites where the whole card is a link, and carries the date over correctly: 09-06-2020 is 9 June, not 5 September.
-
v2.79.3
- Corregido When you ask the assistant for a style your site does not support, such as a section in two columns or white text, it now says plainly that nothing changed and you are not charged, instead of reporting it as done.
-
v2.79.2
- Corregido Generated sites no longer show review stars your own site does not show (a score out of 10 became five stars), no longer put a date where the reviewer's role goes, and only show an overall score when the rating, the number of reviews and the source are all on your own site.
-
v2.79.0
- Nuevo If your phone number, email or address already appear in your site's contact block, the builder now offers them under Contact details. One click and your footer, legal pages, the number in your menu and the call bar can use them.
-
v2.78.8
- Corregido A newly generated site no longer promises that you can be reached day and night, seven days a week or at weekends, or that you fix a complaint free of charge, unless you say so yourself. If your own description or current site says it, it stays.
-
v2.78.7
- Corregido On your phone and tablet your site stays in view while you edit a block: the settings panel opens halfway, and the grip at the top makes it taller. The header shows clearly again whether your site is live.
- Corregido A new Opening hours block no longer puts example times on your site: the days are ready, you fill in your own times.
-
v2.78.6
- Corregido The 'Last updated' date on your default privacy and cookie statement jumped to the day of every publish, even when not a word had changed. It now shows the day our standard text last changed, or the day your page was created if that is later.
-
v2.78.5
- Corregido The AI assistant in the builder now only changes your privacy and cookie statement when you ask for it. A change on another page sometimes changed that text too, after which it was no longer kept up to date when you published. Restyling those pages (such as a narrow column) now keeps the text up to date as well, and that layout now also shows on your live site after publishing.
-
v2.78.4
- Corregido A gallery set to four columns showed only two on a wide screen, in the builder and on your site. It now shows four photos side by side (three on a medium screen), and a masonry gallery also follows the number of columns you choose.
-
v2.78.3
- Corregido If the same photo appeared twice on your current website, it also appeared twice on your new site, sometimes side by side in the gallery. It now appears once. Your own photos also no longer get a description or caption we made up: only the one from your old site, or none.
-
v2.78.2
- Corregido When we built a new site from your current website, most photos of your own work were left out: only as many as there happened to be image slots, often just one. The photos that are left over now go into a gallery on your homepage, with no stock photos mixed in.
-
v2.78.1
- Corregido New sites can now get a form next to the map, a contact panel next to the FAQ and call buttons per team member. In the builder the assistant can now also switch the style of the FAQ, contact, team, form, text, image and specification sections.
-
v2.78.0
- Nuevo In the builder a new block now lands directly below the block you selected, instead of at the bottom of the page. Steps, reviews, price lines, questions and other items inside a block move up or down with an arrow. The hints on the layout choices say in plain words what is still needed, and a new block gets its text in the language of your site.
- Corregido A new site for a mover, cleaner or installer got no call bar on mobile and no phone number in the header. Now it does, with the number from your current site or your details, and a WhatsApp button only when your current site mentions WhatsApp. And if your email address was in the contact block but not in your settings, the privacy and cookie statements showed a placeholder; they now show that address.
-
v2.77.26
- Corregido New sites no longer promise fixed prices, guarantees or online booking that are not in your own information. Ideas from the competitor research now only shape the structure and the tone.
-
v2.77.24
- Corregido In Preferences on the start screen, the analytics cookies switch was always on and clicking it did nothing, even if you had declined in the cookie notice. It now shows your actual choice and a click changes that choice, just like the cookie notice. The switches for functional cookies and reduced motion did nothing either and are gone: keeping your drafts is part of how the app works, and reduced motion follows your device setting.
-
v2.77.22
- Corregido The emails to reset your password, open an invitation or confirm a new email address showed a Dutch preview line in your inbox, even when your account is set to English. That short line next to the subject now follows your language, like the rest of the email.
-
v2.77.21
- Corregido If a two-factor method was ever on your account that was not set up through FWRD, the sign-in screen asked for a code you could not have, and you were locked out. Now that screen recognises such an unknown second factor and lets you remove it once you confirm it is you through a reset link in your email. After that you simply turn two-factor authentication back on yourself. Account security also only issues recovery codes for a second factor you linked there yourself with your password. And with two-factor authentication on, a password reset link works again: you enter your code first and then choose your new password.
-
v2.77.20
- Corregido Just opening the builder of your site already counted as an edit. After an edit of your own the agent leaves your site alone for two days, so even when you only had a look, it then paused for two days. Now the builder only saves once you actually change something.
-
v2.77.19
- Corregido A change made through the chat with your site saved the whole draft as the chat had seen it when you opened it. If we were rebuilding pages of your old site in the background meanwhile, or the agent applied a suggestion, that save could remove them again. Now the chat notices what was added, keeps it and saves your change alongside it. The same goes for generating a page with the wizard.
-
v2.77.18
- Corregido When the agent applied a suggestion, pages the suggestion did not change could also go live as they were in your draft, including changes you had not published yet. This happened mostly on sites where not every page had keywords yet, and could also take your branding, menu and settings along. Now only what the suggestion changes goes live. The rest of your draft stays as it is until you publish it yourself.
-
v2.77.14
- Corregido When the agent updated a block after a suggestion, the styling of your sections could disappear, such as a coloured background, the width or a wavy divider. On a block with a guideline for the agent or an anchor link, and on the trust badge strip, the spec table and the blog blocks, the suggestion could also fail. Both are fixed: the agent changes only the content, and your styling, guidelines and the look of your site stay as they are.
-
v2.77.12
- Corregido If you could not connect your own domain because it was already connected to another site, or because you already had three unconfirmed domains, you only saw "Something went wrong". Now you see why it did not work.
-
v2.77.10
- Corregido When you build a new site from your old one, we take over its phone number, email address and address. A check step after building often removed them again because they were not in your description. They now stay on your new site. The same goes for details you gave the assistant earlier.
-
v2.77.9
- Corregido If you change your site often with the AI assistant, it only kept track of your last 24 changes, and what you asked for before that was dropped without a summary. It now summarises your earlier changes and takes that summary into every next one. It does this after you already have your answer, so you do not wait for it.
-
v2.77.8
- Corregido If you already had a Blog page and then imported the articles from your old site, your site got a second page at the same address. Now your existing Blog page becomes the overview of your articles: what was on it stays, and the list of articles appears below it.
-
v2.77.7
- Corregido When you paste the address of your old site in the start chat, we rebuild its other pages in the background afterwards. If you were working in the builder meanwhile, its next automatic save could remove those new pages again. That no longer happens: the builder notices the added pages, keeps them and saves your changes alongside them.
-
v2.77.6
- Corregido When you restored a single page from the version history, unpublished work on your other pages and in your settings disappeared too. That now stays: only that page goes back. When you use the undo link in the report mail on an improvement the agent made by itself, only that improvement is undone, not everything you published yourself afterwards. If undoing fails, you can try again.
-
v2.77.4
- Corregido Turning on two-step verification now asks for your current password first, just like changing your password. That way someone who happens to sit at a logged-in laptop cannot link their own phone to your account.
-
v2.77.3
- Corregido If you had added a page or changed the menu in the builder without publishing, and then saved something in Settings, such as the description, that unfinished menu went live too, with a link to a page that did not exist yet. Settings now publishes only what you change there. Your menu and footer go live when you publish them from the builder.
-
v2.77.2
- Corregido When you paste the address of your old site in the start chat, we rebuild its other pages in the background afterwards. Changes you made and saved in the builder during those minutes could get lost. That no longer happens: the new pages are added and your changes stay.
-
v2.77.1
- Corregido If someone else had added your domain earlier but never confirmed it, it stayed taken for good and you could not connect it to your own site. A domain that is still unconfirmed after 7 days now makes way for whoever actually points it at their site. You also get a clear message when a domain is already connected to another site.
-
v2.77.0
- Nuevo Paste the address of your WordPress site in the start chat and we now rebuild up to twelve of its pages instead of four, homepage included. The pages start from the text that was on your old pages, so there is less for you to fill in. On a free account it stays within the ten page limit. If we cannot read the pages of your WordPress site, it works as before.
-
v2.76.0
- Nuevo When you move over by pasting your old site's address in the start chat, we now carry over the addresses of your old pages too. Every old page address we know of, from your old site's sitemap or from a page we rebuilt, redirects to the page we rebuilt from it or the one that fits it best, and otherwise to your homepage, up to 1800 addresses. Once you take the new site live on the same domain, old links and Google search results no longer end on an error page.
-
v2.75.26
- Corregido When you ask the editor for the logo from your old website and that logo is built into the page as an inline SVG rather than a separate file, the editor now takes it over anyway. The logo is stored with us as an .svg file and placed on your site. Before, the editor could not find such a logo and said it had nothing to take over.
-
v2.75.25
- Corregido If you are an admin of an account, Billing no longer shows buttons to buy credits, choose another plan or cancel. Only the owner could use them, and a click gave you an error page saying 'Something went wrong'. Now it says the owner takes care of that, and if you do land on one of those pages, it says the same in your language.
-
v2.75.24
- Corregido When you take out a subscription or buy credits, the error messages on those pages are now in your language. Before, you would read for example 'Kies een geldig aantal credits.' or 'Sessie verlopen. Log opnieuw in.' in Dutch, even when the rest of the page was in English or French.
-
v2.75.23
- Corregido When you ask the editor for your logo, its answer is now right. When it put the logo from your old site in, it still said 'no images placed' underneath; now it says your own logo is in. When it found no logo on your old site, it now says so too and tells you where to upload it yourself, instead of asking you to phrase it more concretely or asking for the address of your old site.
-
v2.75.22
- Corregido When you open a link to take over a site, a team invitation or the confirmation of an ownership transfer, the error messages on that page are now in your language. Before, you would read for example 'Deze overdracht is verlopen.' in Dutch, even when the rest of the page was in English or German.
-
v2.75.20
- Corregido When you move your existing website over, your own photos now come along even when your domain name contains the word 'logo', as with a speech therapy practice. Before, we mistook every photo on such a site for a logo, and the new site took none of them.
-
v2.75.19
- Corregido When you ask the assistant in the editor for the logo of your old website and we did not find it when you moved your site over, we now look for it on your old site again so the assistant can place it on your new site.
-
v2.75.18
- Corregido On the site transfers page of the reseller portal, error messages are now in English, like the rest of that page. An invalid address or a transfer that was already open used to show a Dutch message. When you cancel a transfer, the page now says it was cancelled, instead of saying it was created and the recipient was emailed.
-
v2.75.15
- Corregido When you move your existing website over, we now also find its logo when it sits in a second header, below a large page head, in a link to the homepage or as a background image. A small review icon in the header is no longer mistaken for your logo.
-
v2.75.14
- Corregido When the assistant adds a gallery with your own photos to your site, the summary after the change now counts every photo in that gallery. Before, a gallery of four photos counted as one, so you read that fewer of your own images were placed than are actually on your site.
-
v2.75.8
- Corregido If your site has no visitor data yet, for example because it is not live, the Report tab now says so next to the button, before you create a report. You know up front that the report covers your pages, tech and enquiries, not your visitors.
-
v2.75.7
- Corregido The site chat now moves photos and the logo from your old website to our hosting first and then places them, just like the assistant in the builder. So it no longer asks you to upload them yourself via Media. And when the tab icon of your old site (favicon.ico) is the only image we could not take over, the assistant no longer mentions it after every change.
-
v2.75.6
- Corregido A suggestion from the agent that only changes the site settings, such as the site name or the footer, now also works on sites with many pages. And when the first attempt to apply a suggestion goes wrong, the second attempt now points at the error on the right page, so suggestions fail less often.
-
v2.75.5
- Corregido Signing in with a password is better protected against guessing. After too many attempts on one email address, the password pauses there for 15 minutes and you simply log in with an email code. The Change password screen also no longer allows endless guesses at your current password.
-
v2.75.0
- Nuevo The assistant in the builder and in the site chat now knows the logo and the photos from your old website, including what they show. Ask for your own photos or your logo and it puts them where you say, also where a stock photo is now. Until now that only worked in an empty image slot, and it did not know the logo. The site chat did not know your old photos at all.
-
v2.74.31
- Corregido On a phone you could drag the whole Team page sideways, not just the table of team members. Now only the table scrolls sideways and the rest of the page stays in place.
-
v2.74.29
- Corregido On larger sites with many pages, applying a suggestion from the agent often failed: the whole site went to the model in one go and the answer did not fit. The model now receives only the pages the suggestion names, plus the site settings. The other pages stay untouched and all existing checks still run over the complete site.
-
v2.74.27
- Corregido On the Password screen a new password needed at least 10 characters, while signing up and resetting a password asked for 8. If you chose 8 or 9 characters during a reset, you could not later change it to a password of the same length. All three screens now use the same minimum of 8 characters.
-
v2.74.26
- Corregido If you signed up with an email code or joined through an invitation, you never chose a password yourself. Still, the Password screen asked for your current password, so you could not set one. Now you choose a first password there without a current one, right after a link or code from your email. Turning on two-step verification asks for a password of your own first.
-
v2.74.24
- Corregido After opening a team invitation and clicking Create my login, the page showed a sign in button instead of telling you the email was on its way. The link in that email promised a password but signed you in without asking for one. Now the page tells you to check your inbox after the click, the link asks you to choose a password first, and then it takes you back to the invitation. The same goes for a site transfer.
-
v2.74.23
- Corregido When you invited someone to your team, the link in the invitation took them to the login screen. Anyone without an FWRD login could not get past it, so they could not join. The link now opens the invitation itself, also without logging in, and a new team member can create their login there.
-
v2.74.21
- Corregido When the agent applied an improvement to your site by itself, the undo link in the report email took you to the login screen if you were not logged in. That link now works without logging in, as intended. The undo page and the list of those changes in the email are now also in the language of the email: under an English email they were in Dutch.
-
v2.74.20
- Corregido If you clicked the unsubscribe link in one of our English emails, the confirmation page was in Dutch. The unsubscribe page is now in the language of the email. This applies to emails from the portal and to our introduction emails.
-
v2.74.19
- Corregido The unsubscribe button that Gmail, Yahoo and Apple Mail show above our emails did not work: the mail provider got a refusal back and you kept receiving the emails. This applied to emails from the portal, the newsletter and our introduction emails. The button now unsubscribes you right away. The unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email already worked and still does.
-
v2.74.18
- Corregido If you asked the builder assistant in Portuguese, French, Spanish or German where to set something, it sometimes named that place by its Dutch name, such as "Site-instellingen", while your menu says "Configurações do site". It now names places in the portal the way your menu shows them, in your language. For your plan it also pointed to a page that does not exist; it now points to Money and then Billing in your account menu.
-
v2.74.17
- Corregido If you wrote to the builder assistant in a language other than Dutch, for example Portuguese or German, it sometimes started in your language and then carried on in Dutch after the first sentence. It now gets your language as the last thing it reads before answering, and an answer that still slips into Dutch is rewritten in your language. That costs you no extra credits.
-
v2.74.16
- Corregido If you asked the builder assistant in English for another page while your site was already at your plan's page limit, the message about that limit came back in Dutch. It now comes in the language you write in, with the same page count and the same next step.
-
v2.74.15
- Corregido If you wrote to the builder assistant in French, Spanish, Portuguese or German on a site in that language, it sometimes answered in Dutch or English, because short words like de, en or a are also Dutch or English words. It now answers in your site's language. If you write in Dutch or English, you still get your answer in that language.
-
v2.74.14
- Corregido When you pressed Buy while buying a domain, the confirmation with the withdrawal waiver appeared at the very bottom of the search results, often out of view, so the button seemed to do nothing. That confirmation now opens right under the name you picked.
-
v2.74.13
- Corregido If you ran into an error in the builder, the chat or on the start page, such as too few credits, a description that was too short, an invalid email address or a site that could not be saved, the message was often in a language other than yours, usually Dutch. Those messages now appear in the language you use the hub in.
-
v2.74.11
- Corregido If you asked the builder assistant in English to change something on your site, the message about what it had done often came back in Dutch. That message is now in the language you write in, and so is the line below it listing what changed. The text on your site itself stays in your site's language.
-
v2.74.10
- Corregido When a prospect report failed in the reseller portal, it always told you to check the address, even when the site refused us or was down. It now says what went wrong: that the site refuses automated visits, that the address does not exist, that the site was down or that building the report itself went wrong, and what you can do about it. A failed report still does not count towards your monthly limit.
-
v2.74.9
- Corregido If you asked the builder assistant to bring over the blogs from your old site and that site refused the request or was down, the assistant said it found no blog posts and asked for the link you had just pasted. It now says what really happened: that the site blocks automated reading or returned a server error, with the error code, and what you can do about it.
-
v2.74.7
- Corregido If you asked the builder assistant a short question in Dutch, it sometimes answered in English. It now recognises more Dutch words, and when a message gives no clue about its language, it follows the language of your earlier messages and otherwise the language of your site.
-
v2.74.6
- Corregido When something was wrong while saving your site settings, such as a one letter title or a WhatsApp number without a country code, the message was often in Dutch, even if you use FWRD in English or another language. Those messages are now in your language and say in plain words what to change.
-
v2.74.5
- Corregido The contact block on a Dutch site still showed the English words Hours, Email and Phone above the opening hours, email address and phone number. Those rows are now in the site's language, the same words as in the footer, in the preview and on your live site.
-
v2.74.4
- Corregido A prospect report or a new site built from your old website failed for some sites, because that site refused our scanner. We now read such sites with a real browser, so the report and the new site are made as usual.
-
v2.74.0
- Nuevo In your site's settings, under Privacy & retention, you can now switch off FWRD's visitor measurement yourself. Your site then loads no measurement script and shows no Statistics link at the bottom, and your privacy and cookie statements adjust unless you edited them yourself. By default the measurement stays on, without cookies.
-
v2.73.9
- Corregido The assistant in the builder now knows what the Statistics link at the bottom of your site is. Ask about it and it explains that a visitor uses it to switch off the anonymous measurement for their own browser, and that your numbers keep running. When you asked it to remove the link, it sometimes said it had while the link stayed. Now it tells you plainly that the link belongs to the measurement. Your visitor numbers are on your site's overview and in the Report.
-
v2.73.8
- Corregido The pricing explanation in the portal now matches what FWRD does. You can connect your own domain on any plan, Free included; what Grow adds is that your site can be found in Google. A question in the chat also uses credits, usually a couple, and Pro gives you over 2.5 times the credits of Grow instead of a priority that did not exist. The same wording is now on fwrd.digital too, in all six languages.
-
v2.73.7
- Corregido If you pick a higher setting for how much the agent may do on its own, on your report or with your suggestions, and then say no in the confirmation, the choice now jumps back to your current setting. Before, the refused setting stayed checked even though it was never saved, and you could not pick it again.
-
v2.73.5
- Corregido If we built a preview site for your business, the claim page now shows straight away what FWRD costs: claiming is free, and if you then choose Grow, the monthly price is right there, along with the fact that you can cancel any month. If a code comes with it, you also see how long you pay nothing: you enter your payment details at checkout, and the first payment only follows after that. Before, the page only spoke of a trial, without a price.
-
v2.73.3
- Corregido When you started a new site from your old website, building the extra pages often only began after six to eight minutes. Building now starts within three minutes and keeps going, so your site is complete sooner. The same goes for a prospect report in the reseller portal.
-
v2.73.2
- Corregido If you already have a subscription, the portal now asks you once whether you agree to the new version of the data processing agreement. Until now that checkbox only appeared at checkout. The notice blocks nothing: you can keep working, and if you close it, we will not ask again for that version.
-
v2.73.1
- Corregido The Statistics link at the bottom of your site now really shows in your site's language. Sites that already existed still showed the English Statistics after today's update.
-
v2.73.0
- Nuevo If you took out your subscription as a consumer, you can now also withdraw from the agreement in your account while your withdrawal period is running. Under Billing & subscription you will find the button Withdraw from contract here. You fill in your name, click Confirm withdrawal and immediately receive an acknowledgement by email with what you sent us and when. Withdrawing by email still works too.
-
v2.72.2
- Corregido The data processing agreement is updated to version 1.1. It now states who we are legally, with our Chamber of Commerce number and business address, and lists GitHub as a sub-processor for building your site. If we add a sub-processor, you hear about it 30 days in advance and can object. It also states exactly how we process data outside the EU.
-
v2.72.1
- Corregido The checkout text about your right of withdrawal is now correct: you ask us to start right away, and you can still withdraw within 14 days for a proportionate part of the price. After checkout you get a confirmation email with the text you ticked and how to withdraw. The page with the right of withdrawal and the model form is now also available in English, with our full business address.
-
v2.72.0
- Nuevo Every site now has a Statistics link at the bottom, in the site's language. With it a visitor switches off your site's anonymous visitor measurement with one switch, even if you don't use Google Analytics. A browser that sends Global Privacy Control is no longer measured, just like with Do Not Track, and the measurement no longer looks at text a visitor copies.
-
v2.68.1
- Corregido The step where you choose your web address was shown in English to anyone using the hub in German, French, Spanish or Portuguese. That step, the buttons to confirm a domain and the prompt to connect your own domain are now translated into all six languages.
-
v2.68.0
- Nuevo Resellers can get an advance on the current month. What FWRD has already paid out shows in your dashboard with the date, followed by what is still to be paid. If you sell another website later in the same month, it lands on that month's statement as usual, minus the advance. Your commission now also uses the actual VAT and Stripe fees of a payment instead of fixed percentages. For a client outside the EU who pays no VAT you get your full share, and for a card with higher Stripe fees you see the real cost.
-
v2.67.20
- Corregido The chat that starts a new site sometimes gave wrong answers to questions about the platform. It said a pop-up, a PDF price list or a WhatsApp button was not possible and that you had to write your own privacy policy. It now knows what you can do after the first draft and where to find it, including that you can buy a domain through us.
-
v2.67.19
- Corregido On the payment page of a payment link, clicking 'Send me a code' sometimes showed an error instead of the code field. That happened when the page had not fully loaded yet, for example on a slow phone, or when JavaScript was turned off. The code is now sent in those cases too.
-
v2.67.18
- Corregido When you picked or bought a domain, prices were only shown in Dutch or English notation. If you use the hub in German, French, Spanish or Portuguese, a domain price now looks the way you are used to, for example 12,99 € instead of €12.99.
-
v2.67.17
- Corregido The assistant in the builder now also knows older FWRD features. Ask about a blog, an announcement bar or pop-up, how much the agent may improve your site on its own, where to set your logo, favicon or share image, or about your privacy and cookie policy, and you get a correct answer that says where to find it.
-
v2.67.16
- Corregido On a slow connection the canvas in the site builder sometimes stayed empty: the page loaded, but your site never appeared on it. The canvas now fills in even when the page takes longer to load.
-
v2.67.15
- Corregido Your account, billing and usage pages, the credit counter in the studio and your site dashboard always showed dates and numbers in Dutch, even when you use the hub in another language. They now follow the language you picked, so in English you read 1,000 credits instead of 1.000.
-
v2.67.14
- Corregido When you started a new site with several pages, building the extra pages sometimes stalled for six to seven minutes, a few times in a row. That long wait is gone: the pages now keep building, so your site is complete sooner.
-
v2.67.11
- Corregido If you had more than one site, your free deep review was only ready on a site that was itself two weeks old. When you started it on a newer site, you paid for that review with credits, while your free review was still unused. Once your free review unlocks, you can now use it on any published site.
-
v2.67.10
- Corregido On your form submissions, suggestions, report and memory, dates were always shown in Dutch, even when you use the app in another language. They now follow the language you chose.
-
v2.67.9
- Corregido When you sent the assistant an image larger than 5 MB, such as a screenshot of a large screen or a high resolution photo, it could not see what was on it. It now looks at a smaller copy of the same image, so it knows what you mean.
-
v2.67.7
- Corregido When something went wrong in your browser, the error page showed a 500 without an error code and the error was not recorded anywhere. The error page now shows a code in that case too, and the error reaches us, so we can find it when you report it.
-
v2.67.6
- Corregido On your account overview, Usage this month always showed 0 credits, even when you had used credits this month. The tile now counts your actual usage for this month.
-
v2.67.1
- Corregido On a Dutch prospect report the severity of every finding was shown in English: high, medium or low. It now reads hoog, gemiddeld or laag, in Dutch like the rest of the report.
-
v2.66.2
- Corregido If you typed the alt text for a pop-up step first and only then chose an image, that text was gone as soon as the image was in place. The alt text now stays, also when you remove the image again and pick another one.
-
v2.65.0
- Nuevo When you import the blog posts from your old site in the chat, the photos inside the articles now come along. They sit in the same place in the text, with their captions, and move to our own hosting just like the main image. Until now only the main image came along.
-
v2.63.1
- Corregido When a payment for your plan fails, you now see it at the top of every screen under Account, with a button to pay right away. Until now that notice did not appear.
-
v2.62.1
- Corregido When you upgrade your plan from your site overview, suggestions, report, chat or the builder, or from the billing page, the confirm button now names the plan you are moving to. It used to say Upgrade and publish, although nothing gets published with that upgrade.
-
v2.62.0
- Nuevo When the password of your account changes, or you turn two-factor authentication on or off in your account settings, you now get an email about it. If it wasn't you, you notice right away and can set a new password straight from the button in the email.
-
v2.61.0
- Nuevo New sites now get a Cloudflare project name that starts with fwrd instead of waas. When you connect your own domain, your CNAME points to an address like fwrd-yoursite.pages.dev. Existing sites keep their current address, so there is nothing you need to change.
-
v2.60.5
- Corregido In our emails about your plan, your invoices and your site, the label next to the FWRD logo now lines up with the logo. In Gmail on Android it used to sit slightly too low.
-
v2.60.4
- Corregido If you have a domain through FWRD next to your plan, the invoice for that domain now stands apart from your plan. If the yearly payment for a domain failed, your whole account could be marked as overdue even though your plan was paid. That no longer happens: only an invoice for your plan decides whether your account is up to date, and only that one refills your credits.
-
v2.60.3
- Corregido If you buy a domain name while you already have a subscription with us, you now check out as the same customer: your saved payment details are ready and the domain invoice joins your other invoices. Until now a bug created a separate customer on your email address for every domain purchase.
-
v2.60.2
- Corregido If you enter a wrong password or code when signing in, you see an error message again, now in your own language. After switching to password sign-in, that message used to stay hidden.
-
v2.60.0
- Nuevo If your own domain stops pointing to your site for a day, for example because it expired or the DNS record was removed, you get an email with the record that needs to be back in place. We check every hour. When your subscription ends, you hear what happens to your domain, and after the 90-day retention period we release the domain on our side, so you can connect it to another account.
-
v2.59.2
- Corregido Photos from your old website now also show on your live site when you add them through the chat or publish through the AI assistant: we move them to our own hosting right away. Moving them for sites that were already live now actually runs every hour.
-
v2.59.1
- Corregido Photos from your old website that did not load on your live site are now moved to our own hosting automatically, also for a site that was already live. Your live site is then rebuilt, without publishing anything from your draft.
-
v2.59.0
- Nuevo Not happy? You get your first subscription payment back in full within 30 days, no questions asked. Checkout now says so, with a link to the refund policy, and the right of withdrawal page names the address to write to.
-
v2.58.3
- Corregido After moving to the free plan you can save your site settings again. A Google Analytics or Tag Manager ID you had filled in earlier blocked that, even when you only changed the title.
-
v2.58.1
- Corregido Pressing 'Send code' twice when signing in now sends just one email. Sign-in codes, password resets and sign-up emails are now limited per address and per connection, so nobody can flood your inbox.
-
v2.57.0
- Nuevo A prospect report for resellers is now a report page without a claim button, and the new site lands in your own account. Share the report with the business, then sell the site from your dashboard as usual. Each report links to the new site.
- Corregido The hub no longer makes a prospect report on a site that already runs on FWRD. You see a message instead, and it does not count towards your monthly limit.
-
v2.56.0
- Nuevo Resellers can now create a report on the current website of a business they want to win. FWRD measures that site for speed, search visibility and accessibility, sums up what holds it back and builds a new example site next to it. You share the report with one link; if the business claims the site, it becomes your client. Find it under Reseller, Prospect reports.
-
v2.55.8
- Corregido If a payment for your subscription fails, you now also see it at the top of your account screens, with the date by which to update your payment and a button to do so right away. That notice already existed, but a bug kept it from ever showing. It now appears in all six FWRD languages instead of only in Dutch.
-
v2.55.7
- Corregido If your site contained photos from your old website (after a migration, for example), you saw them in the builder but not on your live site: for security reasons it only loads images from our own hosting. When you save a new site, with every change through the assistant and when you take the site live, we now take such photos over to our hosting automatically. The assistant also no longer reports that such a photo was placed when your live site would not load it, and tells you when a photo could not be taken over. If your site is already live with photos from your old website: take it live once more and they will be taken over.
-
v2.55.6
- Corregido If you switched on an announcement bar, it fell over your navigation in the builder: your logo and your menu sat half underneath it. On your site itself the navigation slid over the start of the page. The bar now sits at the top with the navigation right below it, and both stay in view while you scroll. On a phone the text no longer runs underneath the close button. On top of that, the navigation on live sites only stayed in view for one screen; it now stays for the whole page. You see it in the builder straight away. Your live site gets it the next time it is rebuilt.
-
v2.55.5
- Corregido If your site had round buttons and you gave a link in the navigation sub-items, the dropdown menu turned into an oval with the text pressed against the edge. The menu copied the roundness of your buttons. It now follows the roundness of the cards on your site and looks like a menu again. You see it in the builder straight away, and on your site as soon as you publish again.
-
v2.55.4
- Corregido When you asked the assistant in the builder for a table of technical specifications or for your trust marks, it often picked a different block. Your three products then ended up crammed into one line, and your trust marks became a plain bullet list. The assistant now knows when to use the spec table and the trust mark strip, and how to fill them. If you work through Claude (MCP), these two sections now read back with their content instead of as an empty section. And the assistant you start a site with now names every kind of section there is, including opening hours, products and the map next to your contact details.
-
v2.55.2
- Corregido Turning on a pop-up in the builder made the settings freeze. You got a message that the editor had hit a snag, and reloading did not help: only restoring an older version got you further. That is fixed. You can now turn on and fill in the pop-up and the announcement bar as intended.
-
v2.55.1
- Corregido The assistant in the builder now knows better what is possible. If you asked whether you could buy a domain here, whether it could read your screenshot, or whether the blogs from your old site could come along, you could get an answer from before those features existed. It now also knows the Media page, the map with directions and the WhatsApp button.
-
v2.54.5
- Corregido Formatting in the text of an 'Image + text' block now reaches your published site too. If you made a word bold or added a link there, the preview looked right but the site itself showed the raw codes in the sentence. An ampersand and a phone number in that text now behave the same in both places as well.
-
v2.54.4
- Corregido Formatted text in a hero, a text block, a call to action or a footer column is now cleaned the moment your site is assembled, not only when it is shown. Your site looks the same; the file it is built from now holds permitted formatting only.
-
v2.54.3
- Corregido An ampersand in formatted text, for example 'Jansen & Sons' in a paragraph, a footer column or a pop-up, was sometimes shown on your site and in the preview as '&', and every edit in the builder added another layer. Such a character now stays a plain &, however often the text passes through our hands.
-
v2.54.2
- Corregido If a site report was cut off halfway by a fault on our side, the credits reserved for it stayed deducted, and an hour later the scheduled report reserved credits again. Your balance could drain within a day without a report ever appearing. The reservation of an interrupted report now comes back on its own: on the next attempt, and otherwise within ninety minutes. You only pay for reports that were actually produced.
-
v2.54.1
- Corregido If applying an improvement suggestion was cut off halfway by a fault on our side, the credits reserved for it stayed deducted, and every new attempt reserved credits again. Your balance could drain without anything changing on your site. The reservation of an interrupted attempt now comes back on its own: as soon as the suggestion is retried, and otherwise within ninety minutes. You only pay for suggestions that were actually applied.
-
v2.54.0
- Nuevo You can now attach ten files at once in the chat with your site and when starting a new site, instead of five. Useful when you want a series of photos of your work or your team placed in one go. The limit per file stays at 10 MB.
-
v2.53.5
- Corregido When you delete a site that has its own domain attached, for example a domain you bought through FWRD, that domain is now properly detached as well. Before, we only looked at the domains the dashboard itself knew about, so a domain bought through FWRD could stay attached and the deletion would stall halfway. We now ask Cloudflare which domains are really attached to your site and detach all of them.
-
v2.53.4
- Corregido When you put a site live for the first time, the "Your site is live" email now only arrives once your site is actually reachable. Before, that email could arrive while the build was still running or had failed, and the dashboard would still show a successful build. The dashboard now shows the real outcome of the build, and if your site is still not reachable after twenty minutes we look into it instead of sending you a link that does not work yet.
-
v2.53.3
- Corregido When you have a site built from your existing website, your logo now comes along even if that website has a large menu at the top. On such sites we could not find the logo and your new site only got your favicon.

v2.53.2
- Plataforma When the weekly report finds a fault on our side, for example in the spam protection of a form, we now receive one report about it instead of a new one every day. That keeps our list of faults readable, so a real problem gets picked up sooner.
-
v2.53.1
- Corregido When you bring over an existing website, accented letters and the ampersand now come through correctly in your menu and page names. A page called "Citroën" or "Tips & Acties" on the old site could show up in the menu as "Citroën" or "Tips & Acties", with a messy web address to match. These are now converted to normal characters when the site is read.
-
v2.53.0
- Nuevo A draft that is ready is now easier to publish. Your sites overview shows per site whether it is a draft or live, you can click a row to open the builder, and a draft gets a publish button. The dashboard of a draft shows the same button. On the free plan that button now reads "Publish for free" instead of "Check out & go live", because there is nothing to pay.
-
v2.52.1
- Corregido When you bring your existing website along at the start, page titles now come across clean. Many websites, especially those built with WordPress, write a dash or an apostrophe in the title as a code, for example '–'. That code then appeared literally in the title of the page we took over, in your menu and in the address of the page, often followed by your business name. We now read that code as the character it stands for, and the title is shortened to the name of the page again. If you already have a page with such a code in its title, you can change it in the builder.
-
v2.52.0
- Nuevo The assistant can now see what is on an image you attach in the chat or the builder. Send a screenshot with "this button needs to change" and it reads the text, the layout and the colours in the picture and uses that in its answer. Before, it only knew that an image was there. Good to know: it reads text reliably but only estimates alignment and spacing, so say yourself what looks off. Looking at an image counts towards your usage; for a large screenshot that is one to two credits, for a small one usually one. If looking at an image fails once, you simply get an answer the way you did before.
-
v2.51.3
- Corregido If you are refunded the full amount of an invoice, your subscription now actually stops: nothing is charged again and the period you were refunded simply runs out. A partial refund leaves your subscription unchanged.
-
v2.51.2
- Corregido After putting a site online for the first time, your browser could report that the address did not exist while the site was live. The cause: the dashboard let your browser look up the address of a not-yet-published site (for the sidebar icon), and that "does not exist" answer stuck for up to thirty minutes. The dashboard now only requests the address once the site is really online.
-
v2.51.1
- Corregido An account can have a separate domain subscription alongside its plan. In rare cases the account's payment link could end up pointing at that domain, after which "cancel plan" and "upgrade" acted on the wrong subscription: the domain was cancelled or given the plan price, while the plan itself kept running. That can no longer happen. If the link is wrong, nothing is changed and nothing extra is charged, and you see a message in your own language asking you to email support so we can put it right.
- Corregido When you published a site for the first time and then reloaded the page, it showed the update copy ("is updated", "your changes are live") instead of the launch copy. The page now checks whether a version was online before this publish. The "Updating …" notice at the top also disappears once the update has finished.
-
v2.51.0
- Nuevo Every site now has a Media page in the menu under Edit. It brings all your images and documents together: the files you upload, and the images that were already on your sites. You can upload images there and, on a paid plan, also PDFs such as a menu or a price list. For every file you see on which page and in which block it is used, in your draft or on your live site, and one click opens that spot in the builder. You can replace a PDF with a new version without linking your buttons again, because the link stays the same. Files you no longer use can be renamed, hidden or deleted, and before you delete anything you see exactly where it is still used, so your live site never ends up with an empty spot by surprise.
- Corregido The "Payment confirmed · receipt sent" notice on a freshly published site's page now only appears when you arrive there straight from checkout. Publishing a new site on an existing subscription charges nothing, so that notice no longer shows there.
-
v2.50.4
- Corregido When you hit your plan's live-site limit, the message now says exactly which site is using that slot and what you can do: take that site offline, or move to the next plan with room. Previously you only saw a generic error.
-
v2.50.3
- Corregido When you hit your plan's live-site limit, the upgrade prompt now suggests the next plan that actually has room. On Free that is Grow, with five sites; previously everyone was shown Pro, even when it was not needed.
-
v2.50.2
- Corregido Your website assistant now writes in the language of your site. Until now it guessed that language from the text on your pages, which went wrong on Spanish, French, Portuguese and German sites: they received a Dutch weekly report, and with automatic improvements sometimes Dutch copy on the site itself. It now reads the site's language setting first and only guesses when that setting is missing. If your site is set to a language we do not speak ourselves, it uses English instead of Dutch. The check that blocks wrong-language copy also stays quiet when it cannot judge the language, so correct Spanish or German text is no longer rejected for no reason.
-
v2.50.0
- Nuevo Resellers can open a client from the dashboard. In the reseller dashboard every client name is a link, and each row ends with "Details". Behind it you find everything about that one client in one place: who they are and how they came in, which plan they are on and when the next invoice is due, whether a trial or founder price still applies, which sites they have and whether those are live, the payment link they came in on, and what they brought in per month with your commission next to it. Refunds count as a negative amount there, so the picture stays honest. You only ever see your own clients, and never a client’s payment details.
-
v2.49.0
- Nuevo A client who opens a payment link now creates their account on the payment page itself. They request a six-digit code, receive it by email, enter it on the same page and see the pay button right away. No more detour via a separate sign-up page and a link in the email, and no password needed to pay. If they would rather have their account on a different email address, they can choose one after entering the code from the link. We are turning payment links on for resellers step by step.
-
v2.48.1
- Corregido After confirming your email address you now return to the page you started from, such as an invitation or a payment link, instead of the start page. The link to reset your password now also takes you straight to the screen where you choose a new password. And if you use two-step verification, signing in from such a page now asks for your code right away and brings you back, instead of asking you to sign in again.
-
v2.48.0
- Nuevo Resellers who build a website for a client can send that client a payment link. The client confirms their email address, pays the website setup once and starts their plan, and the website moves to the client's own account. We are turning this on for resellers step by step.
-
v2.47.0
- Plataforma We built the payment processing for reseller payment links: a one-time amount, such as setting up a website, is charged once and the plan then renews as usual. Payment receipts now show a one-time amount separately from the plan.
-
v2.46.0
- Plataforma Behind the scenes we laid the groundwork that will soon let resellers send their clients a payment link for a website plus a plan. Nothing changes for existing customers yet.
-
v2.45.7
- Corregido When you buy credits, a domain or a new plan with a payment that is confirmed later, such as SEPA direct debit, we now only activate it once the money has actually arrived. If such a payment fails, we stop that subscription right away, so you can simply check out again. Refunds are processed correctly again. And if you already have an active plan, you can no longer accidentally start a second subscription: you are taken to your billing page, where you change your current plan instead.
-
v2.45.6
- Plataforma The AI features in FWRD Studio (conversations, website generation, edits, research and reports) now run on a fixed model identifier at our AI provider, instead of a temporary one it can withdraw without notice.
- Corregido Pulling text from a website no longer stalls for minutes. When you ask the AI to take text from a page (in the chat, in the editor or in a report), we fetch that page and strip its markup. On a page that breaks off halfway or is deliberately malformed, that stripping could take minutes, and the rest of the app waited while it did. It is now always a fraction of a second. As a side effect the AI reads such pages better too: where fragments of program code used to end up in the copied text, it now gets only the real page text.
- Corregido The star rating in your site's hero now shows the real number of stars. A 3.2 out of 40 reviews used to render five full gold stars next to that text, a better score than you actually had. The number of filled stars now follows your rating, both in the builder and on your published site.
- Corregido The ready-made message you can share after publishing no longer contains an emoji, and the confirmations after a purchase are plain text. An emoji looks slightly different on every device, so what you share now looks the same everywhere.
- Corregido What the assistant says it did now matches what actually happened. Until now the AI model wrote that sentence itself, before our server placed the images and updated the rest of your site. That is how it could claim your own photos had been used while stock photos went in, or that this made your site unique against your competitors. From now on the server composes the factual half of that answer from the change itself: which pages were updated or added, how many sections went in or out, and how many images were placed, including whether those were your own photos or stock. That half is true by construction: it is read from the change, not written by the model. On top of that we strip the best-known untrue claims from the sentence the model adds itself: that your own photos were used, that your site is unique against competitors, that something was submitted to or indexed by a search engine, that a page was added, or that the assistant will remember something for next time. That filter is a second net, not a guarantee: phrased differently, such a claim can still slip through. And when an edit changes nothing at all, the assistant says so plainly instead of describing work that did not happen, and in the builder such a turn costs you nothing.
- Corregido A site without its own icon now shows the FWRD mark in the browser tab. Until now that showed the default logo of Astro, the technology we build your site with. It was black and white, and nothing you ever chose. If you have set your own icon, nothing changes. The change appears on your site once it has been published again.
- Corregido Deleting your account works again. If you had ever published a site or changed a setting, “delete my account” failed with an error and nothing happened. That is fixed. More goes with it now: submissions you made through our contact and request forms using your account address, any open invitations to that address, and your name and email address on bug reports and ideas. Those reports themselves stay, because they are about our product; your details in them do not. If you ever wrote in from a different email address, we cannot link that to your account. Email us and we will remove it by hand. Your newsletter subscription is separate and you end it with the link at the bottom of those emails. Still have a domain running with us? That subscription is separate from your plan and you cannot cancel it yourself. Email hey@fwrd.digital and we will cancel it for you; after that you can delete your account.
- Corregido The publish dialog shows what actually changed again. On sites you edit yourself, every page was permanently listed as "changed", including right after a successful publish, and even when you had touched nothing. The cause was a technical marker that the live version of each block carries and the draft does not; the comparison counted that difference as a content change. It now compares only what you can edit, so choosing which pages go live is meaningful again.
- Corregido The "this look is not live yet" notice now appears only after a change that actually changes something. A design panel could also switch it on when you picked a value that was already set. The bar then sat there for no reason, and could not be cleared either: publishing is the only thing that dismisses it, and there was nothing to publish.
- Corregido The AI assistant no longer says a custom domain requires Grow. That was not true: you can connect your own domain on any plan, Free included. Both the assistant in FWRD Studio and the chat on the site used it as a reason to upgrade, while the paid difference is being findable in Google, not the domain.
- Corregido The "Tablet" button in the preview bar now shows a tablet. It was borrowing the monitor icon from the "Desktop" button at a slightly smaller size, which made two of the three buttons look like the same device.
- Corregido Every turn of the AI assistant now costs credits, including asking a question or a change that ends up not going through. Until now you only paid for a change that was actually applied, even though the thinking behind a question or a failed attempt was done all the same. You pay what the turn actually used, with a minimum of 1 credit; if things go wrong before the assistant starts working, you still pay nothing. On top of that, every account now has a daily ceiling on AI usage. It sits well above anything you would reach by hand, and if you do hit it, the chat asks you to try again later.
- Corregido The padlock next to a fine-tuning control is now a button. Picking 'Black and white' under Imagery, for example, immediately pinned that choice while the padlock was only a picture: the only way out was the reset arrow, which wiped your choice along with it. You can now release an axis without losing it. The assistant also remembers considerably more about your site: your rules, brand facts and above all your most recent edits did not all fit in its memory and were dropped off the end.
- Corregido The agent no longer overwrites your draft while you are working in it. Preparing an improvement can take twenty minutes, and anything you saved in that window used to be overwritten when it landed, with no warning. Your version now always wins: the agent notices you changed something, leaves your work alone and puts the suggestion back in your list. Edit your site by hand and the agent also stays away for two days, even if you have not published yet.
- Corregido When the AI cannot carry out an instruction in the builder, the edits you made by hand while waiting no longer disappear. The builder used to roll the site back to how it looked before the instruction; your own changes now stay, and you simply get the explanation.
- Corregido Large changes in the builder no longer fail with “Something went wrong with the AI connection”. When you asked for something substantial (a full page, or working in a document you supplied), the assistant got 80 seconds and was then cut off, leaving your change undone. It is now allowed to finish. Also fixed: the post-generation check only read the first part of your brief and therefore removed accurate details from your copy, and the website analysis could stop halfway on a limit that was set too low.
- Corregido Paste a link with your description and hit “Improve prompt” and the assistant now actually reads that page, just like it does in the chat. Files you already uploaded come along too, and a second click no longer cuts your description in half. When a page can’t be read we now say why (the site blocks us, the link is a PDF, the domain doesn’t exist) and you can retry in one click. Re-pasting the same link used to do nothing.
- Corregido Dropdown menus stay open as you move the pointer from the main menu into a submenu. The gap between them is now bridged, including in floating navigation.
- Corregido When you migrate an existing site built with a modern framework (Next.js, Nuxt), we now also find your sub pages and the photos on them. Sites like that only build their navigation in the browser, so previously we saw your home page alone and missed the rest of your content.
- Corregido Symbols across the app are now drawn icons instead of emoji. An emoji looks a little different on every phone, laptop and browser, and sometimes plain odd; the new icons look the same everywhere and match the rest of FWRD. In the builder you now pick a service's icon from a list, with a preview beside it, instead of typing something yourself. Services that still carry an emoji keep working and show the matching icon.
- Corregido The chat where you describe the site you want no longer ignores your questions. If you asked something along the way (will this show up in Google, can I remove it later, what does it cost), you would sometimes get the same line back: whether we should build a first version. That happened because the assistant occasionally received an empty answer from the language model and fell back on a fixed script that could only move forward. The model now gets a clear instruction plus a second attempt. If it still goes quiet after that, the chat says honestly that it would rather not half-answer you and asks you to put the question again in a moment, instead of a sales line. And if you would rather not wait, it tells you right there that you can email hey@fwrd.digital and a human will reply.
-
v2.45.4
- Corregido Your sign-in credentials no longer sit in the page source of the portal. Every page you opened carried a copy of your session and your cookies, so third-party scripts on the same page could in theory read them. The browser is now only told when your session expires; the keys themselves stay on the server.
-
v2.45.2
- Corregido If you have a page generated from Claude or another AI assistant and it fails, you now get a clear error instead of an empty page. Until now a failed generation quietly dropped a blank default page into your draft, and with 'rebuild the whole site', in place of your site. Nothing is changed and nothing is charged, so you can simply try again.
-
v2.45.1
- Corregido You'll only get the 'your update is live' email when you publish something yourself. When we roll out an improvement across every website, you no longer hear about it as if you had done it. Your timeline shows it as a platform improvement, noting that none of your own text, images or settings have changed.
-
v2.45.0
- Corregido The privacy statement on your site now recognises forms that live in a hero or in the contact block. If your request form sat there, the generated statement left out the section on form data, even though visitors were in fact leaving their name and email address. It reappears on your next publish.
-
v2.44.8
- Plataforma New sites now share a Turnstile widget instead of each claiming one. The spam filter on your contact form was capped at twenty sites per account; sharing widgets (while verifying that a challenge was actually solved on your own domain) makes room for hundreds of sites, so no site goes live with a form that refuses every submission.
-
v2.44.5
- Corregido The AI builder can no longer make pages disappear. If a response came back with fewer pages than your site has, it was simply saved. Such an edit is now refused, unless you explicitly ask to delete a page.
- Corregido Your theme now survives publishing only part of your site. Publishing individual pages used to revert the theme choice to the default.
- Corregido What you put in your site memory now genuinely affects generation. Two requests with the same instruction but different memory used to get the same cached answer, so your memory was silently ignored.
- Corregido AI requests from visitors without an account can no longer pause the work of signed-in customers. Signed-in accounts now fall under their own daily limit instead of the shared emergency brake.
- Corregido The 'auto-apply suggestions' switch is gone, because it no longer did anything. What the agent may change on your site is now decided in one place, the autonomy level, with the list of allowed actions right beside it instead of hidden behind that switch. Only an owner or admin can give the agent more room, so a team member can no longer have it publish unnoticed.
- Corregido Sites you deleted or took offline no longer receive agent reports.
- Corregido Signing in with a backup code now works as intended. The code used to be spent before your authenticator app was detached, so you could burn a code and still stay locked out.
- Corregido Two-step verification now applies across every part of the app. Someone who had entered their password but not yet completed the second step was treated as fully signed in on a few pages.
- Corregido An API token for the MCP integration now stops working the moment the team member who created it loses rights. Such a token used to keep allowing publish and rollback actions that the app itself already refused.
- Corregido If you belong to more than one account, every part of the platform now resolves you to the same one. Billing, cancelling and upgrading could previously land on a different account than the one you see in the app.
-
v2.44.4
- Corregido Forms in a lead-form hero and in the contact block with a form now submit again. Those entries used to fail with an error and were never stored; they now arrive in your overview and in your inbox.
- Corregido Buying a domain no longer interferes with your plan. For accounts that had bought a domain through FWRD, a later cancellation could land on the domain subscription instead of the plan, so the plan kept being billed.
- Corregido Undoing a cancellation now really keeps your plan. If you cancelled and then clicked undo, the next renewal still moved you back to the free plan while your payment continued as normal.
- Corregido Domains with a premium or unusually high registration price are no longer offered for sale. Such names could previously still be ordered through the checkout step, at a price that did not reflect their real cost.
-
v2.44.3
- Corregido An empty draft is no longer saved as a site. If you open the builder without generating anything yet, your draft stays in the browser instead of becoming an empty site with placeholder text in your account.
-
v2.44.1
- Corregido The builder now uses plain words where it used jargon. Eyebrow is now Small heading above, Variant is Layout, Alt text is Photo description and Map embed URL is Map link.
-
v2.44.0
- Nuevo The four blog blocks can now be edited in the builder. You choose whether the date, reading time, author and breadcrumbs appear, you set the author details, and you decide how many related articles show under a post.
-
v2.43.0
- Nuevo New sites get a look of their own instead of one fixed style. The builder picks a font pairing, colour use and layout that suit the trade, and local service businesses get a bar at the bottom of the phone screen to call or message straight away.
-
v2.40.3
- Plataforma Internal cleanup of database permissions. A credit balance view technically granted write access to visitors without an account. It could not be used and nothing happened, but the permissions did not belong there and have been revoked.
-
v2.40.2
- Corregido Follow-up to the previous fix, which did not land. The text in the call-to-action banner now really lines up with the rest of the page, and the footer on a coloured background is now genuinely more readable.
-
v2.40.1
- Corregido Two things visible on every site. The text in the call-to-action banner sat against the edge of the screen instead of indented like the rest of the page. And the footer was hard to read on a coloured background; that background is now a little deeper and the text a little stronger, so everything clears the accessibility standard comfortably.
-
v2.40.0
- Nuevo The first email to a new business now opens in a friendly way instead of with criticism of their website, and includes the link to the preview site we built for them right away. That link appeared in none of the emails even though we were building it. What could be better about their current site is still there, just no longer as the opening line.
-
v2.39.0
- Nuevo The emails we send to new businesses now carry a signature with a portrait photo. A message from someone with a face reads differently from a message from a name alone. If you block images you miss nothing: the name, the offer and the unsubscribe link are all plain text in the email.
-
v2.38.1
- Corregido Logged-in users could not upload an image. The bot check that protects the public builder also applied to people who were already signed in, and that check asks for a confirmation you only get by going through the public builder. Anyone with an account got an error instead of an upload. Fixed: your session now proves what that check was asking for.
-
v2.38.0
- Nuevo There is a new block for technical specifications. One form presents a single product as a spec sheet: property on the left, value on the right. The other puts your whole range side by side in one table, so a visitor can compare sizes, versions and values. On a phone the spec sheet stacks so long values stay intact, and the comparison table scrolls sideways while the first column stays put, so you always know which row you are reading.
- Nuevo A pricing block can now be a comparison table: one table with the features as rows and your plans as columns, each cell a check or a dash. Cards side by side make the visitor work out for themselves what the more expensive plan adds; a table shows that difference at a glance. On a phone the table scrolls sideways while the feature column stays put.
-
v2.37.0
- Nuevo A photo block can now be a lightbox: when a visitor clicks a photo it opens large over the page, with arrows to browse and Esc to close. Until now, clicking a photo went nowhere. Useful for anyone showing their work: landscapers, painters, hairdressers, restaurants.
- Corregido The badge on the highlighted pricing plan always read “Most chosen”, even on a site in another language. It is now translated into every language we support, and a screen reader can read it out.
-
v2.36.1
- Corregido In a reviews block your customer’s name and town ran together: “Peter BakkerAlmere Buiten”. That was the case on every site with reviews; the two now sit on separate lines.
- Corregido A numbers block on a dark background had a grey panel sitting behind the figures, which are meant to stand free. The panel is gone.
- Corregido The compact form block was misaligned: the message box shared a row with an input, which pushed the label beside it upward and made the consent line collide with it. Every field is the same width now and the message box gets the full width.
- Corregido A long compound heading such as “Buitenschilderwerk” ran straight across the photo beside it in a hero. Words like that are now hyphenated so they stay in their column.
- Corregido In a team block shown as a list, a member without a photo displayed the word PORTRAIT clipped to “PORTR” inside the round frame. It is a plain empty circle now.
-
v2.36.0
- Nuevo The before/after slider can now be filled in by hand. Pick the “Before/after slider” style on a gallery and every project gets two image fields (the situation before and the result after) plus a project name, the type of work and a year. Those projects travel to your published site, so what you see sliding in the preview slides for your visitors too.
- Nuevo Your gallery can now show a before/after slider. Add a second photo of the finished result to a project and visitors drag between the two images themselves. The difference lands immediately instead of asking someone to compare two separate photos. Useful for painters, landscapers, renovation, salons and clinics. Projects without a second photo simply stay out of this block, and anyone who cannot work the slider still sees both photos split half and half.
- Corregido A block with a large image next to text only showed the heading and the photo on your published site. The eyebrow above it, the paragraph below it and the button were in your preview but never made it to the site, even though you had filled them in. They are there now, as is the eyebrow above a features block, which fell away for the same reason. If you do not pick a side for the image it sits on the right, and that is what the preview shows too instead of the other way around.
-
v2.34.4
- Corregido The Raw and Luxe design styles could hand out a heading typeface that ships only one weight. The browser then faked a bold, so headings on your site looked heavier and rougher than intended. Both styles now pick a typeface that really ships the weight they ask for, and a single-weight typeface can no longer end up under a design style through the font picker, the AI assistant, or a locked font either.
-
v2.34.3
- Corregido The preview sometimes showed fields the published site never got. A hero request form with no fields set up yet showed “Full name” and “Email” side by side, while the live page had “Name”, “Email” and “Message” stacked; a contact form without fields showed three fields instead of none. The preview now shows exactly what gets published.
- Corregido When one page held both a hero with a request form and a separate contact form, the two shared the same field names in the preview. Clicking a label on the top form put the cursor in the bottom one, and a screen reader announced the wrong field. Both forms now have their own fields, exactly as on the published site.
-
v2.34.2
- Corregido "Shuffle the look" now works on older sites too. If your site still held a block in an older format (a services list, a team block, a product list or a contact form from before an earlier update), you got an error the moment you asked for a new look. Those blocks are now quietly brought up to date instead of refused. The same blocks were blocking the site chat as well; that is fixed too.
-
v2.32.1
- Corregido The team block now shows only what is actually there. If someone has no photo on your site, you get their name and role instead of an empty portrait frame. The LinkedIn and mail icons under a team member are gone: they linked nowhere. And a team block with nobody in it now stays empty instead of filling itself with four invented names.
-
v2.31.0
- Plataforma Groundwork for the new Site Identity Engine landed under the hood: the site builder now treats style presets, colour schemes and font pairings as separate, swappable layers, and every block can carry its own colour scheme and alignment. Hero blocks gained a set of extra variants as well. This layer is still switched off: we are turning it on step by step as it proves out across every kind of site.
-
v2.24.0
- Plataforma Groundwork for site identity: the site builder now syncs style variants, colours and interactions automatically with the live-site template, and an extensive set of parity tests guards that the builder preview matches the published site exactly. The opening hours and price list blocks in the preview now render pixel-identical to the live site.
-
v2.23.3
- Corregido The lead form hero (text on the left, request form on the right) can now also be selected as a style in the site builder. In addition, the builder preview now renders a non-sticky navigation bar correctly, exactly as on the live site.
-
v2.22.0
- Nuevo Reviews block: the Google Reviews badge and per-review star rating can now be set in the site builder (block settings). The review slider (from 4 reviews) no longer blocks vertical scrolling and can be dragged with the mouse.
-
v2.21.3
- Corregido In the site builder’s block picker, long block descriptions ran outside their card (e.g. “Contact/sign-up form”). Long words now wrap neatly inside the card.
-
v2.21.2
- Corregido The hero with a background photo now shows the photo much better: no blur and no dark tint over the whole image, and the top stays fully visible. The text sits at the bottom on a soft dark gradient with a subtle shadow, so it stays readable even on light photos.
-
v2.21.1
- Corregido Every block in the site builder now has a readable name in all languages. Blog blocks (blog header, author, related posts, blog overview) showed an internal code instead of a name; that is fixed and a new block type can no longer appear without one.
-
v2.21.0
- Plataforma Site generation and AI edits now run over a live connection with progress. Large sites or long edits that used to silently stall after about a minute and a half ("It's very busy") now simply run to completion, and you see which step the AI is on meanwhile.
-
v2.20.0
- Plataforma Site generation now gets a much larger writing budget (up to 128k tokens, for everyone, with no difference between free and paid). Large, extensive sites now come out of the generator complete in one go.
-
v2.19.0
- Plataforma The AI now has twice the room per task: longer briefs, bigger documents and more chat history fit, and output is no longer cut off on large sites or multi-page edits. You'll notice sites that finish in one go instead of stopping halfway.
-
v2.18.0
- Plataforma A migration now yields up to 4 pages by default (homepage + the key subpages of your old site), and building those subpages no longer stops early on the free starter credits.
- Nuevo Ask the builder chat to “copy all the blogs from my old site” and it happens: we fetch your blog overview, carry over every post as-is (title, date, main image and text) and add them as blog pages on your new site, with a blog overview in the navigation. Paste the link to your old blog if you like.
- Corregido Photos from your old site now come along even when they were set as background images in the layout (many older sites and sliders do that) or lazy-loaded, and we look at your subpages for them too, not just the homepage. When you then ask the chat for photos, the AI uses your own photos first and only then stock imagery.
-
v2.17.0
- Nuevo If you're building your first site as a guest and are about to leave, we now offer to create a free account so your work is saved. Pick up later on any device and share a preview link. No credit card needed.
-
v2.16.0
- Nuevo When you migrate an existing website, the generator now truly carries your brand across: the brand colour is taken from your logo (even if your old site only used it inside images), your logo appears in the navigation and footer, and every section gets a fitting photo (your own photos first, stock afterwards). Subpages of your old site (services, prices, contact, …) are rebuilt in the background too, so you are no longer left with just a homepage.
- Nuevo Reviews look better: from four reviews onwards the block becomes a tidy slider with arrows, star ratings are shown, and you can enable a Google Reviews badge when your reviews genuinely come from Google.
- Nuevo New 'Lead form' hero variant: your copy on the left, a request form right there on the right, for sites where quotes or enquiries are the main goal. And you can now set a separate footer logo (for example a light variant on the dark footer).
- Corregido The navigation button now follows your site's main action (for example 'Request a quote') instead of always saying 'Contact', and forms with a date or dropdown field are no longer silently dropped from the generated site.
-
v2.15.0
- Nuevo You can now arrange your own domain name right when taking your site live. When publishing, choose to stay on your free fwrd.digital address, connect a domain you already own, or buy a new one through us. We handle registration, DNS and SSL fully automatically, in a single payment together with your plan. And if you pick an annual Grow or Pro plan, a .com domain is free for the first year.
- Nuevo Connecting your own domain is now available on every plan, including Free. Being findable on Google (indexing) remains part of the paid plans.
-
v2.13.0
- Nuevo A FWRD partner can now transfer a website they built for you straight into your hands. You get an email, pick a password if you don't have a login yet, and with one click the site, content and settings included, lands in your own account.
-
v2.12.1
- Corregido If you claimed a preview site through the link in our email, your free trial was lost when you later checked out on a different device or browser. The trial is now tied to your account and is always applied automatically at checkout.
-
v2.12.0
- Nuevo The map next to your contact details is now a real Google Maps map. Visitors see your location more clearly, can zoom in and read street names, and the "Directions" button opens turn-by-turn directions in Google Maps right away. No action needed: your map switches over automatically the next time your site is published.
- Nuevo Phone numbers and email addresses in your copy are now automatically clickable (call or email in one tap).
- Nuevo New builder block: Price list. Show your services with rates in tidy groups (for example ladies/gents/colouring), with an optional footnote.
- Corregido When publishing a site for the first time, the waiting page showed a "View your current site" button that led nowhere, because the site wasn't live yet. That button now only appears when you're updating a site that is already live.
- Corregido Editing a block in the builder (for example removing or replacing an image, or tweaking text on the canvas) could make that block invisible until you refreshed the page. Edited blocks now stay visible.
- Corregido Generated sites now automatically get a navigation and footer menu listing your site's sections, and image selection rejects blurry or tiny photos so an empty or fuzzy image never ends up on your site.
-
v2.11.0
- Nuevo New builder block: Opening hours. Show your opening times as a clean table or cards, with an optional holiday note.
-
v2.10.1
- Corregido The AI now picks the section shape that fits your content: articles become a tidy card grid, a company history becomes a timeline, event facts become a stats band, instead of everything landing in a default text block.
-
v2.10.0
- Nuevo Newsletter subscriptions and email preferences from fwrd.digital are now managed securely inside the platform itself, with double opt-in. Your email address and preferences no longer live in the marketing site's publicly readable CMS.
-
v2.9.0
- Nuevo The start screen now shares the same light look as the rest of the app: the same warm window, the same navigation on the left and the same white panel. Starting a site and then stepping into your dashboard now feels like one place.
-
v2.8.0
- Nuevo New for anyone who receives a preview from us: we can now build a complete site for you in advance, based on your current website, including a report of what we found and improved. One link shows you the result, and one click claims the site. It lands straight in your own dashboard with your trial ready to start.
- Nuevo The builder just got a lot tidier: click a block and the blocks menu on the left slides away while the block's settings appear to the right of your site. That is also where the AI now lives: as a tab next to manual editing, with the same chat as on the dashboard. One close button dismisses the panel and brings the blocks menu back; the drawer at the bottom of the screen is gone.
- Nuevo On fwrd.digital you can now describe the site you need right away. Hit Enter and the builder opens with the chat already working on your description. No need to type it again, even if you create an account first.
- Nuevo We now measure the steps you take in FWRD much more precisely, from generating a site to publishing it and going live. This only happens if you accepted cookies, and we never send your email address, only an unreadable code derived from it. Nothing changes for you in the app; it helps us see where people get stuck so we can fix it.
- Corregido If you landed on the login page without an account, it looked like you had to sign in before you could get started. The login page now makes clear that you do not need to: a prominent panel takes you straight to the builder in one click, free and without an account.
- Corregido If you picked a paid plan on fwrd.digital, you first had to create an account before seeing any of the builder. That barrier is gone: you start building right away and we remember your plan choice, even after a reload or when you create an account later. You only check out once your site is ready to go live, with the plan you picked already selected.
-
v2.7.4
- Corregido We tightened security around your site and your data in a number of places. The form on your site and your visitor stats now use a key that only works for your site, so one customer's data can never end up with another. You will not notice anything: your site and your forms keep working as before.
-
v2.7.3
- Corregido If you asked for a site in a different language than the one you use FWRD in, your site's code still declared the wrong language. Google and screen readers read your English site as Dutch. The language now follows the text that is actually on the page.
- Corregido If building your site went wrong, you got a placeholder page that was always in Dutch, even if you use FWRD in English, German or French. The same applied to new blocks you added yourself. Those default texts are now English, so you never see a language you did not pick.
-
v2.7.2
- Corregido A new site was called "Mijn site" (Dutch) until it had a real business name, even if you were using the rest of FWRD in English, German or French. That placeholder name now follows your own language.
-
v2.7.1
- Corregido Generating a site failed with the message "it's very busy". The cause wasn't busyness but duration: the model took so long that the request was cut off in transit, before anything came back. Generating is now more than twice as fast and has a hard time limit, so you always get a site, and if something genuinely goes wrong, a clear message instead of a vague one.
- Corregido A round of security improvements, following a full review of the portal, the sites and the website. The ones that matter most affect teams: permissions are now always checked against the account you are acting in, and publishing asks for the publish right everywhere, including through settings, suggestions and auto-apply. Beyond that, a domain can no longer be claimed on a name already in use by someone else, and text on your published site is sanitised more strictly before it reaches the page. Nothing is needed from you.
-
v2.7.0
- Nuevo Buttons now point somewhere that actually exists. Instead of typing a path or anchor yourself, you pick where the button goes: a page of your site, a section on the page you're on, an external link, an email address or a phone number. If a button no longer points anywhere (because you renamed that page or removed that block), we say so straight away, rather than after you publish. Two checkboxes came along with it: open in a new tab, and don't let search engines follow it.
- Corregido Approved suggestions that broke off halfway reported 'processing was aborted' and stayed there. You had to approve them again yourself. That was never a problem with the suggestion but an interrupted run, and we now pick those back up automatically. You only see a message if it goes wrong three times in a row. The queue also moves faster: suggestions could previously sit waiting for an hour.
-
v2.6.0
- Nuevo You can now leave a guideline for the agent on each block, for instance 'do not mention prices here', 'keep the tone formal' or 'always include the opening hours'. The agent sticks to it whenever it fills or edits that block. If you ask for something else yourself, your instruction still wins.
- Nuevo Your site can now have a blog. Articles get their own URL prefix, an author with photo and bio, a reading time, and an overview page where visitors can search and sort. Related articles appear underneath a piece automatically. Blog pages go into your sitemap on their own, so Google finds them without you setting anything up.
- Nuevo New in your site settings: an announcement bar at the top of your site, and a pop-up. Useful for an offer, changed opening hours or a notice. You decide whether visitors may dismiss the bar and on which date it disappears by itself; the pop-up can be limited to certain pages and can always be closed by the visitor. Both are included in every plan, at no extra cost.
- Corregido Two small things put right in the studio. The workspace switcher at the bottom left had breathing room on the sides but none above or below, so it looked wedged in. And on a phone the AI panel at the bottom seemed impossible to drag: the handle was a few pixels tall, smaller than a fingertip. You can now grab the whole header of that panel to swipe it away.
- Corregido On the contact block, the white card next to the pin was sometimes empty, and the 'Directions' button went nowhere. The card now falls back to your business name and address when those fields are blank, and the button opens the route in Google Maps (straight into the maps app on a phone). If you filled in your own directions link, that still wins. With no address the button no longer appears at all, rather than sitting there doing nothing.
- Corregido When applying an agent suggestion failed, the reason came back in Dutch, even if you read the rest of the app in English, German, French, Spanish or Portuguese. The message is now in your own language, and says more clearly what happened and whether anything on your site changed (it did not).
-
v2.3.1
- Corregido The page explaining what we measure said we read nothing from your browser storage. That was not quite right: no cookie is set, but for as long as your tab stays open we do keep one random number in it, so that separate clicks on the same page belong together. That number disappears when you close the tab and does not recognise you on a later visit. The conclusion is unchanged (there is still nothing to accept or refuse), but the text is now accurate.
-
v2.3.0
- Nuevo Your site now measures how visitors actually use it, without cookies, and without following them to other websites. Which pages get read, how far people scroll, which section they do or do not reach, where they give up in a form, and whether they call, message or ask for directions. That last one is the conversion for most local businesses, and until now nobody was counting it. From forms we record only the NAME of a field, never what is typed into it; our database does not even have a column that could hold it. Because no cookie is involved, no cookie banner is needed either, and fwrd.digital/data sets out in plain language exactly what we do and do not measure.
- Nuevo Your report now reasons about real visitor behaviour instead of visitor counts alone. Where it used to say 'this page gets little traffic', it can now tell you that people give up at the phone field, or that a section is seen often but rarely clicked, with the number attached. Any suggestion that leans on such behaviour must name it concretely from now on: which block, which field, which figure. Vague appeals to 'engagement' no longer count as evidence.
- Nuevo Your site now improves itself by default. Until now that was switched off, and the switch was all-or-nothing, so almost everyone sensibly chose nothing. There are now four levels. Your site sits at level 1 by default: dull, measurable repairs (a missing page title, a broken link, alt text, the year in the footer) we simply make and tell you about; anything involving taste (rewriting copy, adding sections) stays with you. Pricing, contact details and legal text we never touch on our own, at any level. Every change we do make shows up in your weekly email with a one-click undo. Undo something, and from then on we ask first for that kind of change. And we pace ourselves: at most a handful of changes a week, never twice in the same section, never on a page you just edited yourself, and nothing at all during a pause you set.
- Nuevo You now decide how long we keep your site's visitor statistics: between 7 and 730 days, 90 by default. You will find it under Settings → Privacy & retention. Every night everything outside that window is deleted automatically, along with the daily secret used to count visitors; after that, who was who can no longer be worked out, not even by us. Also new: the data processing agreement we ask you to sign at checkout (legally required once we process data on your behalf), and a plain-language page setting out exactly what we measure and what we do not, and why no cookie banner is needed for it.
-
v2.2.1
- Corregido On the site dashboard, the website-traffic panel had an "Advanced analytics" button that pointed to a screen that does not exist yet. We removed the button until that advanced analytics view is actually there, so you no longer click into a dead end.
-
v2.2.0
- Nuevo Two-factor authentication is now a complete story instead of a single button. Setting it up takes four explained steps: choose a password first (if you do not have one, because until now you could sign in with just an email code), link your authenticator app, confirm one code, and finally save ten recovery codes. Once it is on, we actually ask for that code when you sign in. Before this you could switch 2FA on while your password alone still got you in. Lost your phone? A recovery code gets you back. And you can now change your password under Account → Password.
-
v2.1.6
- Corregido Inviting someone to your account did not work. You filled in an email address and got back nothing but "The invitation could not be saved", so no invitation was ever sent. That is fixed: inviting works again, and re-inviting someone sends one fresh link instead of two.
- Corregido Error messages always came back in Dutch, even if you use the HUB in English, German, French, Spanish or Portuguese. So a Dutch sentence would appear in the middle of an English page. Every message from the server is now translated and follows the language you picked, including the ones on the sign-up form.
-
v2.1.5
- Corregido The site review reported "dead links" on every page with a form. Those were not dead links: the security script that keeps spam off your forms deliberately refuses automated checks, and our checker read that refusal as a broken link. It is skipped now, so this advice no longer shows up when nothing is wrong. Genuinely broken links are still reported.
-
v2.1.4
- Corregido On the dashboard, "Your site" showed a piece of internal configuration text glued to your site address, and the link did not work because of it. That has been cleaned up: your site address is now simply your site address everywhere again, including the share button, the site switcher, and the emails we send.
- Corregido Two more things around two-factor authentication. The QR code was only half drawn: a line of technical text appeared above it instead of just the image. And if you stopped halfway you could not start again afterwards: a half-finished setup stayed behind that you could not reach yourself. That now gets cleared the moment you try again.
-
v2.1.3
- Corregido Suggestions that need something from you are no longer applied automatically, and no longer sit there silently either. Think of the right social media link or a phone number: the assistant cannot know those, and making them up is not an option. Such suggestions now appear as a notification under the bell, show up under "Next steps" with the question attached, and the report email tells you how many are waiting on you. Fill it in and the assistant finishes the job.
- Corregido "Recent activity" on your dashboard now actually stays recent: notices about publishes, reports, domains and what the assistant remembered drop off after a week. Form submissions and a failed publish stay, because an enquiry from three weeks ago is still a customer, and a publish that failed has still failed.
-
v2.1.2
- Corregido Turning on two-factor authentication works again. The "Set up MFA" button under Account → Security did nothing: no QR code appeared, and no error either. You can now link an authenticator app, and the screen remembers that it is on, with a button to turn it back off.
-
v2.1.1
- Corregido More tidying up on the phone. The chat now fills the whole screen instead of sitting in a little frame, and the "Show preview" button there is gone. It opened your site at exactly the size you were already looking at. Tapping your site's name at the top takes you straight to your sites instead of to the menu first, saving you a tap. And the visitor chart can no longer be cut off on a narrow screen: if a day no longer fits, you swipe the week sideways.
-
v2.1.0
- Corregido The builder works properly on a phone again. The "Edit with AI" button sat on top of the bottom bar and covered two buttons you could no longer tap; that bar now also scrolls sideways when it does not fit. And the panels that slide up from the bottom to edit something are taller, have a grab handle, and can be scrolled. Anything that did not fit used to be simply cut off.
-
v2.0.1
- Corregido After paying for a domain you landed on a page that did not exist, whether you paid or changed your mind. You now come back to your site's domain screen with a clear message: paid and we are registering it, or cancelled and nothing was charged.
-
v2.0.0
- Plataforma The whole HUB now carries the same design as your dashboard, including your account, billing and every settings screen. The space between blocks is the same everywhere, lists and tables that carry on fade at the edge so you can see there is more, and repeated buttons are icons that name themselves on hover, which saves room in every row. After logging in you land straight in the site you were last working on, instead of on a stopover page listing all your sites. That choice already sits at the bottom left of every screen. Your account (billing, usage, settings, security) now lives under your profile picture in the top right instead of among your sites; the switcher at the bottom left is only about where you work. On a phone it has become its own screen instead of a shrunken desktop: a full-screen menu, quick actions along the bottom, and far less space lost to borders. Grey text and links are darker so they stay readable outdoors or on an older screen. Admin screens now search, filter and sort on any column, and status labels use colour to say whether something went well or went wrong.
- Nuevo Two things. Your footer can now have several columns, and you decide what goes in each one: a list of links, or a piece of formatted text (useful for your address, opening hours or a line about your business). Change nothing and your footer stays exactly as it was. And you can now look at a restore point before you restore it: from the history screen or inside the builder, open an older version on the canvas, have a look around, and only put it back once you are sure. Everything you made after that version stays right where it is.
- Nuevo The builder has been rebuilt around your site instead of around a form. Click a heading, a sentence or a button on your page and start typing. What you type is what stands there. Your site now fills the screen; the settings for whatever you click appear beside it, and the side panels can be folded away, or opened full width when you are writing a longer piece. All your pages now live in their own list with a search box, a split between ordinary pages and blog posts, and buttons on each page to configure, copy or remove it. On a phone it works the same way: your site fills the screen and the settings slide up from the bottom. Separately, under Account → Settings you can now pick your language, and that choice now also decides which language we email you in.
- Nuevo The last screens have been redesigned too. The builder, the screen that puts your site live and the checkout now carry the same warm design as the rest of FWRD Studio, and every window in the app behaves the same way: Escape closes it, your keyboard stays inside it, and the page behind it stays where it was. We also translated a few places that quietly stayed Dutch, including the screen where you pick your plan.
- Nuevo You can now work on the same account with several people. Under Account → Team you invite colleagues by email and give them a role: a team member works on the sites, an administrator also handles the team and domains, and the owner manages billing. The same page shows a table of exactly what each role can and cannot do, so you make that choice deliberately. Stepping back, or handing the business over? You can transfer ownership of the account to someone on your team, and it only goes through once you have both confirmed it from your own inbox.
- Nuevo You can now buy a domain directly from us. On your site's domain screen, search for a free name, pay yearly, and we point the DNS at your site straight away: no account to create elsewhere, nothing to connect by hand. The renewal price is shown from the start, because with many extensions the first year is cheaper than the years after it. You can cancel at any time; your domain then runs until its expiry date.
- Nuevo There is now a help centre inside the app: how FWRD works, searchable, and reachable with ⌘K from any screen. Missing something? Under “Request a feature” you can submit a request and see what we did with it (including our answer, even when it is a no). And your version history has its own screen: you can review your restore points and roll one back without opening the builder. When there is something new you now get a window with pictures instead of a list of one-liners, and only when there is actually something to announce. The form for reporting problems has been redesigned and now asks, in plain language, what happened.
- Corregido The builder is markedly faster. It redrew your whole page on every letter you typed, which made it sluggish once you had been working for a while, especially on a page with many blocks or a map on it. Now it only updates what you change: the rest of your page stays put, including the map that had already loaded and the answer you had opened.
-
v1.30.1
- Corregido When migrating an existing website, the build plan showed different colours than your own brand and your logo appeared to be gone. The plan now uses your real brand colours and shows your logo and favicon.
-
v1.30.0
- Nuevo Migrating an existing website? Paste the address in the start chat and we now carry over your brand as well as your text: your logo, favicon, brand colours, fonts and your own photos. We host those assets ourselves, so they keep working once your old site goes offline.
-
v1.29.1
- Corregido If you pasted only your website address in the start chat, the assistant said it couldn’t draft the plan. It now builds the plan from the research of your site instead.
-
v1.29.0
- Nuevo While your site is being built you now see how long it takes and that you should keep the tab open. You confirm your email in one place: at publish, with the address from the start chat already filled in.
-
v1.28.0
- Nuevo New: playbooks. Under AI memory you can record how a recurring job should go here; the assistant follows those steps whenever the situation comes up, and suggests a playbook itself when it spots a pattern (you decide whether to turn it on).
-
v1.27.1
- Corregido Your dashboard always said “Live since today”, even if your site had been online for weeks. It now shows the actual date your site first went live.
-
v1.26.1
- Corregido The email address you leave in the start chat is now pre-filled when you take your site live. No need to type it a second time.
- Corregido Your language is set from your country on first visit and then remembered. Change it yourself via the language switcher.
-
v1.26.0
- Nuevo New sites and pages get keywords automatically: the agent researches relevant keywords (with popularity signals when available) and fills SEO fields. Site reports flag missing keywords and suggest them.
- Nuevo On site settings you can now collapse and expand sections. Cleaner overview, with the danger zone (delete site) open by default.
-
v1.25.0
- Nuevo You can now choose which agent suggestion action types auto-apply (content, SEO, blocks, settings, technical), instead of all-or-nothing.
- Corregido Google indexing stays your choice: we no longer turn it on automatically. Sites you set to noindex (or have not enabled yet) stay that way.
- Corregido Agent suggestions that stall while applying now fail visibly faster and get retried more often, instead of hanging silently for fifteen minutes.
- Corregido When you turn Google indexing on, we resubmit your sitemap to Search Console so Google picks up fresh pages faster.
-
v1.24.3
- Corregido New sites get stock photos compressed as WebP by default at generation time, not only later in the browser.
- Corregido Sites without their own favicon now load the FWRD icon from their own site (no longer via fwrd.digital), so browsers no longer show a security error.
-
v1.24.2
- Corregido Photos on your site load faster: Pexels stock images are now served as WebP/AVIF at the right size, and the hero photo no longer blocks the page unnecessarily.
-
v1.24.1
- Corregido On sites with rounded corners, titles under photo gallery images are no longer clipped by that rounding.
-
v1.24.0
- Nuevo Tell the AI something it should remember (a preference, a fact about your business, an agreement) and it now keeps that in your site's memory. Those notes come back in later chats and in the builder, so you don't have to explain yourself every time.
- Nuevo On Grow and above you can add your own Google Analytics 4 measurement or Google Tag Manager under Settings → Analytics, alongside FWRD's. Pick one of the two; it only loads after visitors accept cookies.
- Nuevo You can now sign in with a code from your email: request it, enter the six digits, and you're in. The magic link in the email still works, and signing in with a password is still available.
- Nuevo Under Settings you now manage logo, favicon and share image in one place. The share image shows a preview like in chat or a feed, with recommended sizes on every upload, so you immediately see how your site looks when someone shares the link.
- Nuevo Add your WhatsApp number or link under Settings and a green WhatsApp button appears in the bottom corner of your site, so visitors can start a chat with you straight away. Don't want it somewhere? Switch it off per page under page settings in the studio.
- Nuevo If we send you an invitation with a personal code, it puts your first month at zero automatically at checkout. Your card details are captured right away, so your subscription simply continues after the free period without you having to do anything.
- Corregido Uploading images in the builder and under Settings is clearer: drag or click to upload, see a preview with a cross to clear it, and immediately read which size we recommend (for example 1200 × 630 for sharing).
- Corregido FWRD confirmation and sign-in emails now follow your account language, instead of always forcing Dutch or English.
- Corregido Outside the EU, the UK and Switzerland we no longer ask for a cookie choice: measurement is allowed there without prior consent, and you can always switch it off under Settings. Nothing changes inside those regions: there we keep asking up front.
-
v1.23.0
- Nuevo Enquiries you leave in the intake are now also reported to our ad measurement server-side, so they are not lost to an ad blocker. No email address is ever sent, only an irreversibly encrypted representation.
- Nuevo When you leave your email address in the intake, we now record which campaign or ad brought you in. That was not stored anywhere before, so every enquiry came in as 'direct'.
- Corregido The cookie choice is now a clear dialog instead of a small card in the corner, with a button to choose per category. It matches dark screens, and you can confirm straight away with Enter.
-
v1.22.3
- Corregido If you arrive via an ad or campaign link, the campaign details in that link are now preserved when you land on the homepage. They used to be dropped immediately, which made it impossible to see which campaign someone came from.
- Corregido Your cookie choice on fwrd.digital now also applies in the portal, and vice versa. You previously had to choose twice, because each domain kept its own record.
-
v1.22.2
- Corregido The AI now remembers far more of your conversation: up to 50 turns back, in every chat (the intake, the builder and the chat in your dashboard). Previously the builder only looked back a handful of messages, so 'remove that' or 'put that text back' stopped landing after a while.
- Corregido Documents you upload now count towards the notice that a conversation is getting very long. An uploaded brief weighs as much as dozens of messages, but used to count as nothing, so the warning came too late.
-
v1.22.1
- Corregido The start page, where you begin a new site, stayed in English when you'd picked German, French, Spanish or Portuguese, including the sidebar and the preferences panel. Those are now fully translated, like the rest of the HUB.
-
v1.22.0
- Nuevo Your dashboard conversation history now shows your whole journey, not just individual chats: your intake conversation and the edits you made in the builder now appear too, clearly labelled. Key moments (like choosing to generate your site, your site being created, or market research being run) show up as clear milestone lines between the messages.
- Nuevo The AI chats now warn you when a conversation gets very long: you'll see a notice with a button to start a new chat so the AI stays sharp. For an exceptionally long conversation we'll ask you to start a fresh chat before continuing. Your site is always kept.
- Corregido The AI assistant in the builder now remembers your conversation. Follow-ups like 'remove it' or 'make it bigger' now refer to what you just changed. Previously each message was read in isolation, so a follow-up like that often failed.
-
v1.21.0
- Nuevo The HUB now also speaks German, French, Spanish and Portuguese, alongside Dutch and English. Pick your language from the language menu and we'll remember it. New visitors are matched to the language that fits their country automatically.
-
v1.20.1
- Corregido The sidebar on the start page now opens by default when your screen is wide enough, so you can read what every button does instead of guessing at a row of unlabelled icons. Collapse it yourself and we remember that choice, and every icon gets a tooltip on hover.
-
v1.20.0
- Corregido A Deep review on a large site (many pages) sometimes incorrectly reported 'failed' right before the finish, even though the report was actually ready. The watchdog that aborts stuck reports was counting healthy intermediate steps; that's corrected, and a report that has already been saved is now always delivered properly. Large reviews also run noticeably faster.
-
v1.19.0
- Nuevo New: the Deep review. The agent reads every page of your site in full, identifies your market and looks up your direct competitors: what do they have that you're missing, and which opportunities is nobody in your market taking? You get a score per area (content, search visibility, conversion, technical and competitive position) that you can watch climb report over report, plus an unlimited number of improvement suggestions, ranked from quick win to strategic move. A deep review takes 5 to 10 minutes and runs entirely in the background. Feel free to close the page, you'll get an email the moment your report is ready.
- Nuevo Every account gets one free Deep review. It unlocks once your site has been live for two weeks (so there's real data to discover something in), and you'll get an email the moment it's ready.
- Nuevo If the agent finds a technical issue on our side during a review, it reports it to FWRD itself and your report shows that it did. Nothing for you to do.
- Nuevo If your last review is more than 30 days old, your dashboard now tells you: all visitor data since then is still unanalyzed. One click starts a fresh review or turns on weekly reports.
- Nuevo The assistant on the start page now builds your site to a plan. It recognises what kind of site you need (business, portfolio, event, club or personal page) and matches the tone: a personal site gets no sales talk. For a business it researches your competitors right away: what they do, what they miss, and how you get ahead. Before building you see a clear build plan (which sections, which style and why), and after building it honestly lists the assumptions it made so you can check them. Optionally leave your email and it digs even deeper into your market.
-
v1.18.1
- Corregido If you asked the builder assistant to carry over text from an existing page via a link (for example your privacy policy or terms & conditions), it created a page with placeholder text instead of the real content. The assistant now reads such a link itself and truly carries the text over (legal pages word-for-word, 1-on-1). If the link can't be read, it says so honestly instead of pretending.
- Corregido Gallery cards sometimes showed an English title on a Dutch-language site. That text was internal photo-search metadata and doesn't belong on your site: the card title is now simply the caption you see and edit yourself, in your site's language. Existing sites correct themselves on their next publish.
-
v1.18.0
- Nuevo Migrating from an existing site? The start chat now reads your current page far more thoroughly: all services, prices, texts, reviews and contact details go into an extensive report that feeds the first version of your new site. If you share a legal page (privacy or terms), it is preserved word-for-word. In the builder the assistant places it 1-on-1 on its own page, on existing sites too. The start assistant is also more upfront about what the first generation delivers (one page, extendable in the builder).
- Nuevo New in the builder: a History tab with all your restore points. Every publish automatically saves a version; roll your site (or a single page) back to an earlier version in one click. The chat assistant knows your history too: say 'restore the previous version' and you pick and confirm the restore point right in the conversation.
-
v1.17.8
- Corregido New sites sometimes got 'Contact' twice in the navigation, and those buttons pointed at a section that wasn't on the page, so they did nothing. Navigation now always points at a section that really exists and duplicate buttons are cleaned up. Existing sites heal automatically on their next publish.
-
v1.17.7
- Corregido Visibility on Google is always off (noindex) on the Free plan, but the chat agent and the builder sometimes acted as if they could enable it. Wherever you try, you now see a clear locked notice with an upgrade option: in chat, in the builder and on agent suggestions.
- Corregido On the suggestions screen the agent's question was sometimes cut off mid-sentence and the answer field was a single narrow line. The question now shows in full and your answer fits in a larger text box. You can also drag screenshots straight into the bug report window.
-
v1.17.6
- Corregido On very narrow screens the 'Attach files' and 'Improve prompt' buttons under the start form did not fit side by side. The attach button now shows just the paperclip icon there, so 'Improve prompt' stays readable.
-
v1.17.5
- Corregido You can now actually restore a deleted site within 90 days, as promised: deleted sites stay on your dashboard with a restore button and the date they disappear for good. You also receive an email with a restore link after deleting. Our emails no longer contain emoji either.
-
v1.17.4
- Corregido The stray 'n' label inside the 'New site' button on the dashboard is gone. Starting a new site with the n keyboard shortcut still works.
-
v1.17.3
- Corregido The 'View plans' button on the site settings page had white text on a lime-green button, making it hard to read. The text is now dark and clearly legible.
-
v1.17.2
- Corregido The screen where you pick a site got a refresh: every site now has its own colored initial tile so you scan the list faster, the web address sits on the card as one calm line, and the search field and 'New site' button line up neatly at the top.
- Corregido On the usage page, actions via the MCP connection still showed their technical name (like "mcp_generate_reserve"). They are now simply called "Page generation (MCP)" and "Edit (MCP)".
-
v1.17.1
- Corregido A big polish pass across the whole portal: numbers line up neatly in overviews and tables, long names and addresses no longer spill out of their frames, buttons are easier to tap on mobile, and colors and contrast are consistent everywhere.
-
v1.17.0
- Nuevo You can now build multiple pages without an account: the builder preview allows up to 3 pages. After that we tell you honestly how to continue (free account: up to 10 pages, Grow: unlimited).
-
v1.16.5
- Corregido Our AI assistants didn't know yet that multiple pages are now part of the free plan too. The build assistant refused multi-page requests and messages wrongly pointed to a paid plan. Everything now tells the right story: your first draft is one page, after that you add up to 10 for free, and unlimited on Grow or Pro.
-
v1.16.4
- Corregido On mobile, a long site address would break out of the label at the top of your site overview and overlap the rest of the page. The address is now neatly shortened with an ellipsis.
-
v1.16.3
- Corregido Long site addresses also didn't fit their label on your dashboard's site cards. They are now shortened instead of wrapping across the card.
-
v1.16.2
- Corregido On smaller screens, the chat send button on the start page stuck out past the input field. The buttons now arrange themselves neatly inside the field.
-
v1.16.1
- Corregido In build mode, the text next to 'Save & continue' looked oddly stretched across three lines on mobile. Line spacing is back to normal.
-
v1.16.0
- Nuevo You can now cancel directly in the hub, no detour via Stripe. Tell us briefly why you're leaving (we learn from it), get one fitting offer where it makes sense (like two months free or pausing your subscription) and see exactly what happens when, before you confirm. Change your mind? Until the end of your paid period one click turns everything back on.
- Nuevo You can now truly delete a site: from the danger zone in your site settings we take it offline and clean everything up (hosting, domain link, analytics and spam filter). We keep your content for 90 days, so within that window we can restore everything if you wish.
-
v1.15.1
- Corregido Issues only FWRD can fix, such as a security script blocked by our infrastructure, no longer appear as suggestions in your Studio. Applying such a suggestion would always fail. They now go straight to our team as a report, so a developer can fix it on our side.
- Corregido If applying a suggestion fails, you can now report it to us with one click. We will look into it and fix it on our side if the cause is ours, and you can still simply try again.
-
v1.15.0
- Nuevo Some improvements the agent cannot make up, like your correct TikTok link or phone number. Such suggestions now ask for it when you apply: you fill it in, and the agent uses exactly what you provide. Auto-apply skips these suggestions until you approve them yourself.
- Nuevo New on your site overview: an agent progress card. See how many suggestions are ready for you, how many were found and applied in the last 30 days, and the latest report's conclusion, so you can see at a glance that your site is improving.
- Corregido Checkout works again for everyone. A small number of accounts had an outdated link to our payment system, so the payment page would not start after 'Confirm and pay'. The HUB now repairs that link automatically and continues straight to the payment page.
- Corregido The cost your AI assistant quotes before you confirm an action is correct again. Since the revamped site report the HUB reserves more credits for a report, but the assistant still showed the old, too-low figure on the confirmation card. Both now read the same rate, so what you see up front is what happens.
-
v1.14.1
- Corregido Approving several suggestions in quick succession now works reliably: approved suggestions join a queue and the agent applies them one at a time. Each suggestion shows whether it is queued or being applied, and you can still withdraw a waiting one.
-
v1.14.0
- Nuevo The report page has been redesigned. Your report now reads as a checkup in five clear chapters (traffic, where visitors come from, enquiries, content and technical health), with the plain-language conclusion first and the numbers below it. While generating you see live which step the agent is on, and the automation settings now sit neatly at the bottom (also on the suggestions page).
- Corregido The site checkup wrongly flagged protected email links (Cloudflare email protection) as broken links. These platform links are now recognised and no longer reported as an issue.
- Corregido When switching to another site's report, the previous site's report could briefly stick around. The page now always shows the data of the site you are viewing.
-
v1.13.0
- Nuevo The site report is now a full marketing analysis. See visitors and enquiries per page, where visitors come from, which pages need attention and whether your site has broken links, with up to eight concrete improvement suggestions you can apply in one click.
- Nuevo Form submissions now show which page the message was sent from. Useful when your site has multiple forms or several pages with a form. Existing sites include this after their next publish.
- Nuevo Extra protection against console scams. If someone asks you to paste something into the browser console ("to unlock a free feature"), it's a scam: pasting can hand someone else access to your account. The console itself now shows a clear warning, and the new /security page explains what to do if it already happened and where to report vulnerabilities.
- Nuevo You now decide whether we may use cookies for analytics. On your first visit we ask compactly at the bottom of the screen; you can change your choice any time via Account → Settings → Cookies & analytics.
-
v1.12.0
- Nuevo Improved platform analytics. We get better insight into how the platform is used, so we can prioritise improvements where they matter most. Nothing changes in how you use the platform.
-
v1.11.2
- Corregido Form submissions come through properly again. A dropdown (for example "preferred time") stayed empty because its options never made it onto your site, and submissions on a client site were missing from the inbox even though they had arrived. Both are fixed, and no existing submissions were lost.
-
v1.11.1
- Corregido On the chat page the title was partly hidden behind the top bar because the page was slightly taller than your screen. That's fixed. The input field also still referred to the "MCP chat"; it now simply invites you to ask a question or describe a change.
-
v1.11.0
- Nuevo Working on your site through Claude (MCP)? You now get a proper FWRD card before every action that costs credits (what the agent will do, what it costs and a green confirm button) and a result card afterwards with the page URL plus buttons to publish right away or open the builder.
- Corregido We now state clearly how long we keep AI conversations: up to 90 days for quality and support, after which they are deleted automatically. You will find it at the chat and under Data & privacy in your account settings.
- Corregido Multiple pages now behave the way you'd expect. The preview has tabs to pick which page you're viewing (it previously always showed the homepage), pages created by the AI assistant show up in your menu automatically, and menu links pointing at a page that doesn't exist are cleaned up instead of sending visitors to a 404.
- Corregido You can now wipe a site's AI memory in one go. That clears all your notes plus the summarised edit history the assistant kept. Previously you could only delete notes one by one, and that history stayed behind, invisible.
-
v1.10.3
- Corregido Asking for a site that isn't a business (a personal page, portfolio, event, wedding, club or hobby) still produced a company brochure, complete with "Our services", invented figures like "10+ years of experience" and a request-a-quote button. The Site Builder now works out what your site is actually about first and writes copy and buttons to match. Nothing changes for businesses.
- Corregido Creating an account with an email address we already knew failed with "Account creation failed". You now simply receive an email to continue with.
-
v1.10.2
- Corregido Generating pages through Claude (MCP) broke off on longer generations: the connection gave up after a minute while your page was still being built. The integration now keeps the connection alive until your page is ready.
-
v1.10.1
- Nuevo Once your custom domain is verified, your site now switches over to it automatically. Links, previews and search engines point at your own address instead of the fwrd.digital subdomain.
- Corregido Arriving at signup from a paid plan on the pricing page? The signup page now reflects that plan instead of showing the generic free-tier copy.
-
v1.10.0
- Nuevo Click a higher plan on the pricing page while you already run a site? You now land straight in your HUB with an upgrade dialog showing exactly what you pay for the remaining period.
- Nuevo Screens that are still fetching numbers or domain status now say so. Your dashboard briefly claimed “no data yet” while your stats were still loading, and the domain page flashed the “add a domain” screen even when you already had one.
-
v1.9.0
- Nuevo Pick a paid plan on fwrd.digital and you now create your account first, with the builder starting on that plan right away. At go-live you skip the plan picker and check out directly. Already running a site? You land straight in your HUB.
- Nuevo When your AI assistant creates or changes a page, you now get a card with the result: which page it is, the address it will live at, a short summary of what is on it, and what it cost in credits. Not happy with it? 'Redo' generates that same page again, replacing the previous version instead of adding a second one next to it, and showing you the cost again before anything is charged.
- Corregido The HUB now shows the right language straight away. Dutch visitors briefly saw the page in English before it switched over; that flash is gone.
- Corregido Icons in your services blocks now actually render on your site and in the preview. Previously an empty square appeared. The assistant now picks from a fixed set of matching icons.
- Corregido If you've connected your own domain, the builder and preview now show that address instead of the fwrd.digital subdomain.
- Corregido The AI chat now fits neatly on your screen on mobile, and the 'report a bug' button no longer overlaps the send button.
- Corregido New sites get a shorter, readable web address. A long business description no longer becomes your subdomain verbatim.
- Corregido The AI memory limit message (200 notes) now appears in your language.
- Corregido The assistant now keeps copy in short blocks (like the hero) concise and places long-form content in a text block.
-
v1.8.0
- Nuevo The explainer behind "Learn more" on the start screen has been rewritten from scratch and now lives on fwrd.digital. The old text still described a FWRD that could only build a single page. The new one shows what is actually in there, and what deliberately is not.
- Nuevo You can now upload your logo, favicon and share image directly under Settings and in the builder. No more hosting them elsewhere and pasting a link. And when you change your site's title, the name in the HUB now follows along.
- Nuevo More room on every plan. Free goes from 1 to 10 pages, and Grow and Pro now have unlimited pages. Grow also covers 5 sites instead of 1. And you no longer have to go live before you can create extra pages: you can do it right away.
- Nuevo Existing sites now have a privacy and cookie policy too. Your cookie notice already linked to them, but the pages did not exist yet. They have been created for you, in your site's language, without changing anything on your own pages. The contact address on them is the email you signed up with, which is publicly visible on your site. You'll get a one-time message in the HUB about this, with a button to change it.
-
v1.7.0
- Nuevo Your AI assistant can now read and rewrite your pages too. Ask what is on a page and you get a section-by-section overview (the opening section, your FAQ, your pricing) in plain language. To change something, name the section and say what should be different: a shorter heading, a rewritten paragraph, an extra question. Only that section changes, the rest stays put. Editing uses credits just like in the HUB, and you see the cost up front. In Claude you now also get a card showing the cost, your balance and a button to confirm.
- Nuevo Your site now gets a real privacy and cookie policy. Until now those were only linked under the cookie notice but did not actually exist. They are created for you automatically, in your site's language, and describe exactly what your site does. You can edit them yourself; the top of the page always shows when they were last updated. Also: the cookie notice and your 404 page now speak your site's language instead of defaulting to Dutch, your 404 page has a new design in your own brand style, and visitors can always change their cookie choice again through the link at the bottom of your site. Fill in your company name and email address under Settings → Legal details to complete the policies.
- Corregido Important fix for MCP access: asking your AI assistant to generate a new page overwrote your existing pages, branding and navigation, leaving just one page behind. From now on a generated page is added alongside the others and everything else is left untouched. Your assistant can now also list your pages (so it won't create duplicates) and respects the page limit of your plan. Reports run through your assistant now show the actual suggestions instead of just a count, and are correctly recorded as your 'last report'.
-
v1.6.1
- Corregido You now always get the newest version of the HUB right away. After an update your browser sometimes kept showing the old page, so you had to refresh to see new features. That's fixed: updates now arrive on their own.
-
v1.6.0
- Nuevo MCP access is much easier to set up now. Under Account → Settings → MCP access, simply pick the program you use (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor or VS Code) and you get numbered steps with ready-made blocks to copy. If you just created a token, it is already filled in for you: copy, paste, done. No technical knowledge required.
-
v1.5.0
- Nuevo New: MCP access. Connect FWRD to your AI assistant (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code or any other MCP client that supports custom headers) and manage your sites straight from the conversation: view your sites, generate pages and run reports. Create a token under Account → Settings → MCP access. Paid actions use the same credits as the HUB and show the cost before you confirm. You can only ever reach your own sites. (ChatGPT requires an OAuth login for connectors and cannot be connected yet. We're working on it.)
-
v1.4.0
- Nuevo Files you upload now show up in the conversation: your attached documents and images appear neatly under your message. And while the assistant works, a live card shows what it's doing (thinking, updating your site, finding images) instead of just a spinner.
- Nuevo Your chat conversations are now kept. From the menu you can open and switch between earlier conversations, or start a new one. The document icon in the top right shows every file you uploaded in that conversation at a glance.
-
v1.3.0
- Nuevo You can now attach files to the AI (PDF, Word, text, Markdown, CSV and more) and the assistant actually reads them. Upload a brief as a PDF and ask it to build that into your site; it now uses the text from the document instead of just the file name.
- Nuevo The AI assistants (at start, in the builder and in chat) now give fuller, more complete answers and remember more of your conversation. You can also send longer messages and briefs in one go.
- Corregido Clear up front: when you start in the builder and when you create an account, you now see a short notice linking to our Terms of Service, EULA and Privacy Policy, so you know what you're agreeing to.
- Corregido Published sites now use the FWRD icon as their default favicon instead of the Astro logo. You can also upload your own favicon (PNG) in the builder. We scale it to the right size automatically.
- Corregido Changing the subdomain of an already-published site now takes effect automatically: the new address goes live and the old one is only removed once the new one is confirmed working, so no downtime.
- Corregido The AI assistant now replies in the language you write in. If you typed in English you would sometimes get a Dutch reply.
- Corregido New sites and pages only get a contact block with a map when there's a real address. Without one you now get a contact form instead of an empty map.
- Corregido In the builder, blocks with multiple text fields now stack neatly and longer texts are proper text areas, much easier to edit.
- Corregido Smaller polish: the back button on the custom-domain page returns to your dashboard, the analytics upgrade button is now readable, and the chat no longer leaves an empty gap after it finishes thinking.
-
v1.2.0
- Nuevo When you report a bug you can now tick a box to stay in the loop. You'll get a confirmation and an email whenever we change your report's status, in your own language.
-
v1.1.0
- Nuevo You can now see what your plan allows in sites. At your limit, you can upgrade in one step. You only pay the difference for the rest of your period.
- Corregido Setting your own name now actually works: the dashboard greets you with the name you enter, instead of one guessed from your email address.
- Corregido Emails about your site now arrive in the language you signed up in. Dutch-speaking customers sometimes received them in English.
-
v1.0.0
- Plataforma FWRD is live. Pick a template, shape your brand in the builder, check out, and your site goes live on your own domain automatically. After that you manage everything from the portal.
- Nuevo The portal speaks Dutch and English. We pick your language based on your country, and you can switch manually at any time.
- Nuevo See visitor stats, usage and billing for every site in a single overview.
